should i get bangs?

i was trying to get a different look, and i couldnt think of anything to do with my hair, and i was thinking, should i get bangs? heres a pic of me:

Hmm..not sure - you do not have a high forehead and sometimes bangs can make you look a buit 'cut off' and short in the face.
I would print out that pic on regular paper and colour in some bangs to see how you would look - you could try this on a few pics.
I would avoid straight across blunt bangs ( we call it a 'fringe' in Australia) your hair is wavy and it would look too heavy on you. How about some feathered type longer bangs more like having your hair layered with the shortest being around your chin area...then you can always get it shorter later. Take it easy at first then try more and more as you like it
Ask your hairdresser - they are usually pretty good at telling you what would look good on you.

Are you on the right or the left?
If you are the one on the right, no, I don't think bangs would look good. However, the girl on the left would look good with bangs.

I just cut my hair and got bangs and I hate them. The rest of my hair is past the middle of my back and I had to cut like 8 inches off!! I am now trying desperately to grow them back. Make SURE it's what you want to do.

It seems to me that you have an oval shaped face with highlighted dark brown hair. Lucky you. With your face shape, many styles may be able to suit you. A classic cut that suits almost every face shape are side-swept bangs. Find a picture in a magazine or on the internet of a cut that you would like to have, and bring it to your hairdresser so they know exactly what you want. If you can't find one, find one close to it or ask your hairdresser what would work on you best.

Remember to keep in mind how much maintenance you can put into it, your personal style, and how it will affect you in the long run. (ex. If bangs in your face would bother you.)

I've always thought straight bangs look good on just about anyone. They just have to be cut right. I have a fringe in front and shaved in the back (it's called a Chelsea, a typical skinhead girl haircut).

The "sweep" bangs are ok...but way overdone. And straight bangs are coming back in. If you don't like the straight bangs once they grow out a little you can put them to the side no problem.

I think (if anything) a side-swept bang...but the girl on the left would look fabulous with a full bang! Not like all chunky style like the lady on Gray's Anatomy...a softer look...

Don't get them straight across, get angled bangs, those will look cute on you. I can't stand even saying this but look at nachole Richies bangs, I'm not a big fan of hers but her bangs are cute, maybe like that but a bit shorter so you can still see, or sheck out

I don't think you should have bangs, but you friend would look good in them. You have great hair! You might just layer it for a more "in" look. Otherwise, your hair is gr8.

Longer, sideswept bangs might look cool. I wouldn't go for shorter bangs since you don't have a big forehead.

If I were to get bangs.. get them feathered and not too short..
A good hairdresser would be your best bet!!
