It'd look pretty cool to have the same on both. I like symmetry. That guy from Audioslave has some of both:

But, I know of a girl who has tribal tattoos on both her hips. Looks absolutely appalling, really horrible. But then again, she's a girl and I'm not a massive fan of tattoos on girls. Some are OK, but mostly they just look aggressive *ducks as various objects from female yahooers are thrown*

As with all things, some people love tattoos and some people hate them. On the negative side: Some people will assume you are a thug if you have a lot of tattoos. Some people will be scared of you. On the positive side: If you have an ethnic origin other than caucasian, some people might assume that your tattoos are due to your cultural origins (eg: samoan, hawaiian, african etc) some peole will think that your tattoos are very sexy and want to look at them all the time. The main thing is if YOU love your tattoos then thats all that matters and you will eventually find someone who accepts YOU AS YOU ARE... That's what love is, acceptance, the good, the bad, and the offbeat! For the record I think tribal tattoos are FABULOUS.

If you have tribal on 1 arm i think it is important that you have an equally powerful or striking tattoo on your other arm, otherwise one arm may feel a bit heavy! LOL!
Could i just say to the stupid arrogant twats that have no interest in tattoos to stop answering these questions. U dont like tattoos, get over it some people do!

It doesn't particularly matter, it's all about personal preference. There aren't any rules about where tattoos should go and how they should look. That's why they are supposed to be unique to a person, not pre-manufactured and meaningless.

neither. people who belong to tribes should get tribal tattoos. people who live normal lives should get normal tattoos and not be so lame and copy the culture that you know nothing of.

All a bit silly really. What on earth is the point of a tattoo. So when you have had this drawing on your arm, what then? Do you have to keep looking at it? Do you have to walk round hoping people are going to look at your arm and think, "cor look at that " as I say, all a bit silly.

It depends on what tribe you are from. If you aren't from a tribe, you're just a fake anyway, so who cares?
