my ex-boyfriend & i have broken up for good this time about a year ago, and we were together for 3 years on&off and each time he would chase me back. but now i have a new boyfriend, and he's tried but we've gotten into some arguments and we have no relationship whatsoever now, not even as friends. we dont speak or anything. and recently i find he likes another girl, and he says the same thing to her that he used to say to me. i kno i shouldnt care becuz i have my boyfriend, and its not even right for me to even care becuz im over him and he deserves someone new. i know.. but why do i feel so sad? hah this is stupid i know, but i just need to kno why i keep thinkin how he could ever possibly love another..
im not being selfish, or so im trying not to. its just, even if im with someone, i could never imagine him loving anyone else but me. and its what he told me. ahh idk. im stupid. why do i feel like this?

It doesn't sound to me like you are too jealous. But when he says the same things to other girls that he once said to you I understand you could feel hurt, especially after going out for so long. It's hard because you feel like it was a lie, but you just need time to get over it. Hope it works out!

It is quite normal to feel a little resentment when someone who said that you were the "one and only" finds themselves another "one and only". We hope we were special in a unique way, and it hurts to think we aren't that any longer. Its not so much that you have feelings FOR HIM, its just that you do have some FOND MEMORIES. But you have moved on, and so now has he.
Perhaps you were hoping that you had meant more to him than he meant to you, after all you moved on first. Or perhaps some where in the deep dark recesses of your mind, you were hoping he would go on loving you, even if you never wanted to get it together again? Its flattering to think of someone wanting us even if we don't want them.
Just let it go. It had its time and that's past.

its natural for you to have some feelings left for him. you just need to accept the fact that you both have moved on and get over it. you both deserve to be happy. if everyone walked around upset because their ex had someone new this would be a really depressing world. gove it some time and your feelings will fade. concentrate on your new relationship and get rid of things that remind you of him.

Because they promise us their hearts then leave us to mourn them. They move on but we sit around and ask questions on the internet.
I'm not judging...trust me, I have posted similar questions.
I have no advice other than keep as busy as possible and force yourself not to think about him.

You are jeloous and its not that your being selfish.....because your not.....you still have feelings and the reason you feel bad is because your heiring the sweet thing he used to tell you and now he is tellin somebody else....Its normal .....You still have some feelings towards him.....You'll get over it sooner or later...hope i answered your question!

I think these are signs that you deep down inside have feelings for him somewhere. Otherwise, why would you care how he is with another girl? You are not over this dude.

i think you still love your ex a little bit down in your heart and you just don't want to admit it....maybe you should be friends with him again. and then tell him about it! he can still be your best friend even though he's not your boyfriend

ya you are a little! that's normal, but this should just tell you that maybe you are supposed to be with him! if you guys can't be friends it's because you can't stand to see eachother if you aren't togather.maybe you should try to talk to him!!!!!!!!! please do! he's prolly only tellin her that because he wants you back so bad and he's tryin to replace you. well not really replace YOU just wants what you guys had back and thinks just maybe he can find it somewhere else and he won't be able to! trust me!
