no that's not true, if he truly cares for you then he will never lose interest in you. I wouldn't and any decent guy wouldn't.

Sometimes it feels so, but thats not always true.
It depends on the guy, really. Some guys will do that after he gets what he wants, but the majority probably wouldn't. Be sure to get to know someone and trust them before you give yourself out. Guys have been known to have "contests" where they try to "score" with as many girls in a period of time as possible. Be sure not to fall into one of these traps.
On the other hand, boys tend to lay back in a relationship after the first emotional surge. Unfortunately, too many girls get the wrong impression from such behavior (or lack of) and many relationships are thus ruined. Talk to him about it.
Other times, it's the girls' fault. Even though boys may seem to be very interested, they won't have any respect for a girl who allows people to walk all over them. The trick is to watch what you give, and watch what you take. Chances are, it's not what it seems. Communication is the key to any relationship.
Hope that answered your question.

Most young men like going for the score, making it to home base. Once they get their willys taken care of thats it and on to the next. But I won't say that all are that way!

depends on the guy and how mature he is --- as we get older sex is still important but we dont dump a lady once we have sex ---- its how we get along together and sometimes the sex can be wonderful yet the relationship just does not gel ---- we dont break up because we "got what we wanted" we break up because we did not get what we wanted --- a partner --- best wishes

If he's diggin the way you look, and then there's something you can't do to satisfy him, then you may be rejected....but it would probably be something severe for him not to call or contact you a second time.Or maybe it's just to him,a "booty call"....
