The Bible says that we shouldn't judge for we shall be judged in the same manner. So yeah it is a sin to judge others. The Bible says that we shouldn't worry about the speck in our neighbors eye when we have a plank in our own.

Yes, I believe that judging is a sin. Only Jesus can judge. We judge when we think that people are not living up to our standards, putting us in the place of thinking we are perfect, when we are not. I think we judge when we have unforgiveness in our hearts, at least I do. So we not only need to repent of unforgiveness but also of judging. Now it does say to run from sin, so we can judge sin, not the person.

you are allowed to judge, but only if you cannot be held accountable for your own words. You cannot condemn publicly what you do in private. You cannot tell someone not to lie, then go and lie. You cannot condemn someone else for cheating on you, when you are cheating on them. That is what is meant by "judge not."
this is why we are told in James 3:1 Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.
look at 1 Corinthians 5:12 What business of mine is it to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? (it goes on to confirm that yes we are to judge the actions of those in the church)
and remember what Paul says about unrepentant people in the church "With such a man do not even eat." (1 Corinthians 5:11)

judging isn't a sin. the bible just says that you will be judged the way you judge other people. you'll basically get back what you put out.

I think there is a difference between judging and common sense/discresion; for example, if I see someone viciously attack another person on the street I can with common sense discern that it was wrong for that person to do that; however, I think it is wrong to judge a person to hell, because God is God and He knows the heart and will save whomever He wants at any time, even if they have done some ugly things in their past.

The Bible says "Love your neighbor as yourself" and "do to others as you would have them do to you"
Judging is accusing in nature. The devil is called the accuser of the brethren in Revelation 12:10
Judging anyone is fleshly and devilish.
Only God can judge anyone and if you put yourself in God's place there is a word for that, its called BLASPHEMY.
(see John 10:33)
On top of all that Jesus said "Judge not..." Matthew 7:1,2
The apostle Paul said something similiar also in Romans 2:1-3
Amen.
Grace be with you all!

Well, it only serves for you to be judged. Nothing is a sin unless it is deemed by one to be a sin.

I don't think it is a sin but Jesus warned us about the consequences of judging others.
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you." - Matthew 7,1-2
Peace and blessings!

When "judging" is done as "condemning" then yes it is a sin. If it's done out of love for correction and NOT condemnation then it's not a sin.
