The Marlin 30-30 caliber lever action rifle was developed in an effort by Marlin Arms to get a piece of the civilian hunter market after Winchester Arms made the famous Winchester 94 that dates back to the Cowboy era and the "Wild West".
They are still very popular among lever action rifle hunters . Your 30-30 Marlin is valued at about $135.00 in 90-95% over all condition. This percentage is based on a very clean bore, and minimal surface wear on any blued surfaces and as few "dings" on the wood stock and forearm. This amount is based on the "Blue Book of Gun Values" rating scale. This book is considered an industry "bible" for value based on condition . The book is updated annually to cover trends in collectability, age and over-all appearence that might increase it's value.

The previous answers concerning values based on books is excellent and a good starting point.
However, be aware that the real value of your firearm is determined by the local market, and changes constantly. For example, right before deer season, a 30-30 will be higher than after the season closes.
For actual market value, go to a gun show and see what firearms like yours are selling for. That is the real value.
