Go to your doctor!!! It's not a serious condition, its called GERD. Gastroesophagel Reflux Disease. He will probably prescribe you something on the lines of Protonix, Prilosec, Nexium, or Prevacid. They work pretty well. I have been taking Prilosec for about a year and it has helped me gain weight that I have lost from this disorder. You might also need a Endoscopy to see if you have any damage to your esophagus. I have had that done as well, no biggie. And if they find out that the meds work out for you, then you won't need it. Just be careful what you eat as well. Stay away from citrus fruits and juices, spicy foods, foods high in fat, chocolate and soda. You will do yourself a much needed favor.

Some heartburn can be caused when something is pushing on the stomach (like growths on the liver) .
Just taking pills deals with effects but Not the cause .
Find out the cause . . .
Have a CAT scan to determine if there is an external cause .
If not , then look at your dietary issues .

Try a little vinegar and water. It will get rid of it immediately. But also check in with your doctor. The vinegar neutralizes the acid.

It sounds like you have acid reflux or GERD. This website has some information on it. The best thing is to talk with your doctor about it. There are prescription and over the counter meds that will help.

Better see a Doctor as it could be serious. If you can't get to a Doc or can't afford it... talk to a Pharmacist and get a good OTC drug.
