I watched him win race after race the year he won his championship. After every race he was rude to the interviewers. He would tell them he needed to drink some water first or lie down first while leaving them standing there holding the microphone or climb the ropes before answering any questions. All the pro drivers know PR is part of the game. Tony lacks the social skills of the true champions.

I dont think of Labonte is undesirable or ne difficulty, yet its purely that throughout the previous 3 hundred and sixty 5 days or so he hasn't been so good. regardless of the crappy kit with petty, he nonetheless ought to have the skill to deliver it up into some greater suitable finishes. Take Mike Skinner as an occasion, making use of the eighty 4 crimson Bull for some Races. He has had some good finishes for the group greater suitable than Allmindinger Has ever published in an prolonged time. i think of Stewart may well be good and that i'm hoping residing house Depot remains with Stewart.

Just my opinion but, I think the only real problem with Tony Stewart is he has the biggest ego in all of N.A.S.C.A.R, he is highly emotionable and he lacks the ability to think before he opens his mouth when things aren't to his liking .
Not to take anything away from him, he is one of the best drivers in the the sport, he has been from the start and will be for a long time to come. The trouble is that he knows how good he is and feels that because of his talent that he deserves special treatment and that he should be able to do and say what he wants when he wants and everyone should accept it without question, after all when your the best YOU DONT MAKE MISTAKES, IT WAS THE OTHER GUY'S FAULT - THEY'RE ALL OUT TO GET ME! unfortunately for him N.A.S.C.A.R. and most fans see it differently.
Tony Stewart is not the first nor will he be the last sports figure with an ego as big as the whole sports world, He is just the latest in a long list to repeatedly speak out on live T.V. without the ability to censor himself, and let's face it, it wouldn't be the same without him going ballistic every now and then, it's almost become part of the sport.

I don't know what his problem is. I do know that he and
Ryan Newman do not get along, after Newman wrecked him
last year. True Newman was a lap down, but had a really fast
car. Stewart was told about the situation, and didn't give when Newman went for the pass. The thing is Stewart would have done the same thing to Newman had he been in the situation. I don't understand the guy. It is okay for him to wreck people that are in his way. But he goes home cryin when some one else does it to him. Does he really think that he can do somthin to some one, and them not do back to him what he deserves. GROW UP STEWART.

Does Tony ever watch himself later on tape? How stupid did he appear while blaming his teammate who was leading the race. The replay from his in car camera showed Tony had room to slow down to avoid the wreck but didn't. It almost appears he is jealous of Denny's success this year. He is the senior driver on his team and shows little leadership. I wonder how Joe Gibbs feels about it because I know he can't agree with Tony's behavior.

Tony isn't bipolar, he's not crazy, and he's not a jerk. He just has a temper. When he wrecks he gets mad which isn't a bad thing, I'd be worried if he didn't. Sometimes he needs to think before he opens his mouth and I don't agree with everything he says, but I applaud him for saying it. He is the only honest driver in NASCAR.

He is passionate, like all other drivers. He just doesn't know how to take blame when it's his fault. He is driving like a bat out of hell lately because he hasn't won a race yet, and knows the clock is ticking. Hopefully he will realize it's not helping the situation!

Bi-polar? Maybe. I'm bi-polar myself, but this seems more like a bit of a temper and an adrenaline rush that makes him say and do stupid things.
You know who I blame for all this stuff though? The reporters who feel they have to shove microphones in their faces without giving them time to calm down and review what happened. I think that reporter was TRYING to make him make an a** out of himself.

He can get in an uproar for an entire race and be over it the next day. All in all, he is a great driver.
