One of the best drivers in NASCAR. Although he does not have many wins and no championships, he is a class act and a good role model for younger people. By the way I am one of his biggest fans.

Mark Martin has been my favorite driver since the day he came to N.A.S.C.A.R. from the A.S.A. in 1981. He is someone who obviously races because of his love of the sport and for over 20 years now has set an example of sportsmanship that should be followed by every athlete in every sport.
Even though he has never won a Winston \ Nextel cup championship he is still one of the best and the most consistant drivers on the track and it will be a great loss to N.A.S.C.A.R. and the true fans of the sport when he retires.

Mark Martin Forever

I had the chance to meet a few NASCAR drivers while working at a private airport in Hilton Head SC. And the nicest driver I had ever meet was Mark Martin. He was very friendly and took the time to talk to me about the previous race when he was battaling Rusty Wallace at Pocono. The other drivers I had meet wouldnt harldy give you the time of day let alone talk racing with you. And cant forget that hes one of the greatest drivers ever. The greatest that has never won a championship.

I love the idea that someone is finally doing what they say. If he raced every week he would probably be in the top 3 in points but he is not going back on his word, some things become more important. Good job Mark the kid Martin.

Mark Martin is probably the only NASCAR driver that I have known that actually relied on luck to win a NASCAR event. During any interview he always says "It just wasn't our day. We didn't get any of the lucky breaks to be competitive" or "we got the breaks we needed to win". He is , also, probably the most humble NASCAR driver to even compete at his level. He is just so appreciative just to have had the chance to do what he has done. I hope those skills are passed on to his children. He is truly what Hall of Fame competitors are about.

Outstanding Driver; Outstanding Gentlemen. He is the type of guy that makes NASCAR look great. He is first an formost a Husband to his Wife; Father to his Children; and then a Great Race Car Driver. He is a man with his priorities in place and though he has never one a Championship he has won the respect and love of nearly every true NASCAR Fan.

I liked Martin when he first came into NASCAR and then he sort of turned into a Jack Roush who I don't really care for but admire for his racing knowledge. It came to a point where he complained about everything. BUT now that he has gotten away from Roush he seems like his old self again. I was hoping he was going to win the 500 this year and for awhile it looked like he was going to pull it off.
