lol, just from reading your subject (without the message body) I was quickly going to respond "Yes, for men". :-P
I still think the answer is yes, but for a different reason. I think it's better for society to have better representation of the population. I do not however agree with filling those positions with women just for the sake of the representation. I think more women need to be encouraged to accept / desire these kinds of roles, and hopefully that will lead to more women with the proper qualifications from which to draw from.

The world goes through stages... as does America and other nations. Whether it be LEFT, Right winged gov'ts... socialists... communists... what ever... the World changes... as does... the power of genders.
Soon enough... THE PEOPLE get ticked off enough... to elect the 'latter'. Whether it be the opposing political party... or in this case... the opposing gender.
Who would be best? NETHER!
Change is best. IF women were in power today... say for the last 100 years.. or thousand years... eventually society would become so use the same antics.... that change of political status is a MUST!
This change may be needed today? Maybe... as long as the platform is Progressive... and productive.
People must be TICKED OFF enough of the present party... or gender sex to have change their support for the alternative.
Question: What do women have to offer right now... that we so desperately need. HOW will these women accomplish these goals... and How will it better ALL of society?
Today... Hillary hasn't really offered any new policies... and no NEW out look on things. Hence the weakness in her support.
Too bad... she is the perfect candidate for change... except she has NO NEW CHANGING POLICIES.... (too scared to voice them?)
She would win.... certainly if she spoke out... and demanded a change!!!!
Instead.. she has chosen the SAFE route... and adopted Male like motives/policies.
too bad.

I Dont think so, Despite some of men's stupidity, or blank stares, or awful spelling at times.
Women have more hormones, that tend to cause mood swings, yes yes men have testosterone and sometimes loose their temper, but they learn to control that earlier in life. Where as, Women, well, don't, So, Not only will periods, menopause, Birth and other things get in the way, having so many women in higher positions is not something we are used too, not yet atleast.
It's still fact that, a celebrity female takes more heat than a celebrity male.
Women presidents, and higher ups, even TALKING to a male, will probably be considered awful things. Because gossip seems to drive the female world, and magazine era, we have to wait until the majority of the world of females, have more common sense than to let their hormones drive their emotions.
I know i'm a woman, I have my days where everything bugs me, the way my hair is on my neck, or the way something is, about one day or two before my period.
And, Cramping and not wanting to stand, and being pregnant, and tired, and having to eat, and stay away from stress so the baby is okay, and avoiding going to forieng countries where there are infections our bodies aren't used too, if pregnant.
oh, the list goes on.
Positions like that are for Married women, after menopause, with grown children that made good decisions. lol

What we need is more people of integrity and a better balance between male and female energies.
Woman can be and in some cases are as corrupt as men. If you think Hilary is the answer you are wrong she sold out a long time ago when she did her complete flip flop on Universal Health Care after being bought by big money HMOs. She just slid in bed beside Rupert Murdock, the most corrupt and self serving corp elites of all time.
So if you think Hilary is the saving angel just because she is a women you are deluding yourself.
We need people that walk the walk as well as talk the talk and who will not allow themselves to be bought by big corp money and special interest lobbies.

It's not what you've got, it's how you use it that counts!
There are some women that I wouldn't trust to guide me across the street if I was blind, much less do I want them in politics. Our current Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, comes to mind. She is a walking political nightmare!
Now, if Washington DC was full of people like, say, Elizabeth Dole, then I would say "yes".
I would rather have a health-care worker running the show, than a tax-mongering gun-control nut.

It is quite apparent that the USA is now in a potential death spiral. The golden years are long gone. The damage done to our country by class polarization, dependance on welfare and subsidies, political corruption so endemic that we have no sense of American identity. We need a total moratorium on all immigration for 5 years, and a different system of taxation, clarification of who is our friend and who is not. The decay of America has been accelerated by groups so stupid that they deflect attention from the true issues. It is not even remotely possible to expect America to recover to its past golden years, without a significant cost. I have posted several replies to other similiar questions and the questions usually hinted at the type of answer desired and the truth is not flexible . Unfortunately most of the questions on such a critical issue....are asked by children..We live in a world of the "haves" and the "have nots".........the only thing keeping peace now is the presence of weapons and power. The shift has started in the power balance......India and China have both displaced the USA in key areas.......unless we are willing to undergo a type of "isolation", the USA can not recover without removing and neutralizing the upper 2 % of wealthy Americans and corporations. Changing our sense of fair and unfair.....as it applies to Christian values.....not as it applies to money and greed. The lessons of the past have not been remembered, we are making the same mistakes again....only this time we dont have the resources to recover. The true spirit of America will live on, even if America the country falls apart. We need to stand up and be proud to be American and not give a damn what other countries think. We need to start taking care of our own.........we owe it to America

I really think so.
I personally have been deeply involved in American Buddhism, and I feel grateful for how much I've benefited from the significant percentages of women teachers and co-practioners there.
There is also a better integration of gay and lesbian leaders and practioners, another healthy resource for seeing there are multiple ways of being human that are healthy and kind and wise.

As long as it's not "that" time of month!!! But then it would be a much nicer place because men wouldn't be fighting over women. The woman to man ration would be excellent. Have you ever noticed that many more fights break out when men are fighting for the attention of women?
Thanks....nice fodder!

Yes. Because that would mean less men would be having those positions..
Haha, just-kidding.
It would be hell if more than one of them had PMS at the same time.
We'd have a world war 3 ;]
