What happens to Christians who seek out the advice of psychics and white witches?

Question

I know that Christians are told not to seek advice from psychics or white witches, but do you think that God (the christian God and Jesus) deem it worse to speak to a white witch over a psychic or is it the same. I ask because for osme reason it seems more offensive and wrong to seek advice from a witch. It could just be me, but any opinions from Christians are appreciated. Please don't just tell me that seeing these types of people is against christianity (i know that already), i just want to know if one is worse or opens up more spiritual doors than the other, thanks !!

What happens is that they have their mind maybe opened to possibilities of God that the "church" in general doesn't want its followers to have.

Because it leads to free thought.

How would you as a Christian know for sure you hadn't already had advice from a psychic or a witch? The hat isn't a requirement any more :)

Actually, no. You cannot "know" that, because it's not true. Or at the very least, it's not biblical - maybe your pastors do tell you this, but they cannot claim the bible as their authority for that..

The God of the bible and Jesus are just 2 of the names Deity has been called . Actually god is jut a title, but no one knows his name because Hebrew was written without vowels. YHWH is all that is known about that name.

Deity does not care if you see psychics or witches. Just be careful who you go to many psychics are fakes and are out to get your money and rip you off. Especially be ware if they tell you a curse has been put on you and they can break it.

Witches are not evil as Christianity claims.

Spirituality is born from a personal occurrence with a divine, psychic or mystical experience of one form or another which inevitably connects a person to All that Is/God/Goddess/Allah/Great Spirit /whatever you want to call it.

Religion is second hand opinion of someone else’s divine experience. I think you will find that religions, and especially fanatical religions, tend to separate and divide people, while spirituality brings people together.

not in step with se because it truly is seen divination and necromancy. the enormous majority of psychics get their info from chilly or warm readings. some who say they are psychic in basic terms have stable instinct. some who say the lifeless refer to them, different than for the delusional, would be decrease than demonic attack or it would be a parent attitude telling you to do something extraordinary like wait some seconds after a mild turns green and then a motor vehicle runs the crimson gentle and would of hit you in case you hadn't waited. Now there are some religious presents, prophesy and divination of spirits, which could be seen as psychic wisdom. those presents are particularly uncommon and that they don't seem to be continuously "on," yet in elementary terms whilst God thinks you like them as whilst receiving a revelation or discerning the real nature of a spiritual being. i for my section believe that a grieving relatives member would be visited via their deceased love one if God makes a decision that it will help relieve the suffering of the relatives member, yet this in elementary terms lasts as long as God deems it.

There are stories in the Bible (King Saul) they had dire results. I think it safe to say that God holds both witch and psychics in the same category and it is not good. A Christian that would seek the advice of any other religion or divination is sinning and in danger of destruction.

Both are equally bad. As a Christian we seek God's guidance in our life's. Why would any one go to other sources of information since God knows yesterday today and tomorrow. Through prayer and reading God's word the Bible He can and will help you make correct decisions in your life.

You can become oppressed/possessed with demons. This is not a great thing, I have been there before and had to have them cast out after becoming a Christian. You will be miserable if you play around at all in witchcraft.
