Uhhh... if you want to keep dating him... YES! Otherwise, your parents will think you have something to hide.
...unless you do, in which case I say, don't date someone you have to make excuses for.

You haven't said how old you are, but I'm guessing your parents think you're too young. A nice compromise is to have Austin over to your house or somewhere you and parents like to go, just to hang out together as friends. If they see he's a respectful guy, they **may** (I make no promises) let him hang out more. If he's not respectful, he's not worth your time.
Keeping secrets from your parents seems like a good idea because otherwise they might bust up your fun, but I can tell you from watching a lot of mistakes being made that secrets destroy trust and sometimes lives. It's better to be tough and be honest. Like when you have the stomach flu, once you barf you feel better. That's a gross comparison, but you know what I mean.
Or if this is a problem because you are both guys, I can't answer that one for you. Sorry.

If you are uncomfortable about telling your parents about this boy, then maybe you should ask your self why? Is it because your parents don't want you to date, or is there something about this boy that you know in your heart isn't good for you?

tell them that your dating already and its no use trying to stop you because you will be a virgen until your married, that you only go out during the day and come straight home afterwards. If your 15 or older that should work, if your younger, don't tell them yet.

It wouldn't matter if his name was Fred or Clyde. Your parents need to know who you're with, where you are, and when you'll be home....period!
Once you're a mother, you'll understand. Until then, just try to be responsible and considerate.

if your parents let you date and his parents let him date then yes. Just do not let your parents know that you have already been dating him before you told them....if you are still nervous about telling them...or you don't know if you can date then tell them that he asked you out.....ask if you are aloud to date....if you aren't then don't tell them that you already are
good luck!!
