Wow! You sure do take good care of your cat well! Anyways, yes, if she's dirty, she needs it. Five months is old enough to give her a bath, if that's what you were wondering. Even though cats hate water, you should still do it. They may fuss and fit, but if they're dirty, it's worth it. And it will give her a nice, sweet, shiny look to her coat that will make her absolutely fascinating to see!! I had a white cat once too and she was so pretty, but she got dirty too, so we took the hose and a wash cloth and scrubbed her down. They hate it, but they need it. You know? And when she gets dirty again, do the same. After a while, she'll get used to it and not fret so much. I hope this helps you to answering your question!! Have a nice day!!! :o)

You can use any flea or tick shampoo now that the kitten is now almost an adult, just make sure to read the labels. Also they suggest that you do not put any flea or tick shampoo near and open orafus (eyes, mouth, bum) This will also clean the nice white fur or brown fur at this point LOL

Don't use a dog shampoo--they often contain tea tree oil. It doesn't affect dogs, but that's toxic to cats and shouldn't be used especially on a kitten.

Dirt isn't much of a problem, the kitten should be able to groom herself. Sometimes just wetting a washcloth and rubbing at the area will get her to start (you're taking over the role of 'mom', that's what mom cats do). Unless her fur is turning yellow, I wouldn't worry much. Yellow means she's not grooming anywhere near as much as she should be.

If you do shampoo her, use very warm water, and rinse at least 3 times, you have to get all the shampoo out or the skin will react and start flaking.

We've only bathed our cats once in their lifetimes, they take care of all their grooming needs on their own pretty well.

Of course you can give her a bath if you both can survive the ordeal! And she will just get "dirty" again. It's not something you should do frequently as it will deplete the natural oils in her skin and may lead to skin problems.

I am not a "cats should be indoors only" fanatic and you should realise that a white cat will eventually develop skin cancers on ears and nose if kitty is exposed to ultraviolet rays. So I would ask you to seriously consider kitty's "lifestyle" to protect her from the consequences of sun exposure. Cancerous ear flaps can be removed surgically and might save her life - noses CANNOT be removed.

If you do shampoo her, make sure you get one that is for kittens - don't use human shampoo as it can harm their skin and coat. Also, you will not want to bathe them more than once a week - they need their saliva on their fur to protect them from bugs and other critters.

Yes, you can give her a bath. I recommend starting young because it gets them used to water.

They have a shampoo called "bright white", we use it on my moms Bischon. Works wonders!

of course you can. she might not like it that much but if u can handle her nails you can bathe her....just make sure you use pet products cuz human stuff is hard on their skin. if you bathe her more often she will get used to it too
