They are high in protein and low in fat, so they should be very good for your dog. I fed my dog boiled fish and she loved them.They were boneless filets.

Before World War II, people fed their dogs what they ate, or scraps that they purchased from butchers. Dog food was actually processed so that mills and slaughter houses could make use of their by-products. So, in answer to your question, I don't think that giving your dog boiled fish on occasion is a problem.

Fish wont kill your dog the bones will though. I really wouldn't feed fish to your dog because of that. fish though help with a nice shiny healthy coat, I add fish oil to my dogs food everyday, I buy the liquid capsules from the vitamin section of walmart and poke a hole into it and pour it on their food and feed all 7 of my babies one egg eat every week
