This is what God says to those who put their trust in Him:

"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
"Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you."So we say with confidence,
"The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?" "
Hebrews 13:5-6

Let us therefore purpose in our hearts never to leave Him!

I'm disgusted. Here is a person with obvious abandonment issues and people are saying, "No! Jesus will never, never leave you!"

That's not fair! How do YOU know? Jesus has never talked to any of you answerers here; not ONE of you, and yet you answer an honest question with a positive response based on no verifiable evidence that what you're telling Meg is true!!!

What if Meg doesn't accept Jesus into her life the correct way? There are different Christians who give conflicting advise about being a "good Christian" and they don't agree with each other! You telling the questioner that Jesus will never leave her is despicable when you don't know for sure! Why give hope where none is readily available? That's just mean ... all for the sake of spouting off biblical quotes and sounding pious.

Please THINK before you make promises about "the lord" and "Jesus" whom you have NEVER met but only have been told by others that he's still around.

Some people believe God is dead. If this person performs the act of "accepting Jesus as his/her Savior" and nothing happens, does it not concern you that Meg may suffer by your preaching?

Think before you answer instead of just hitting that "Answer the question" button.

I would advice you that if you really want to know something regarding your Lord, your God, read your scriptures, The Bible carefully and act on it, Jesus said that "keep the commandments and follow me" if you do that, your Lord will never leave you.

Jesus will never leave you if you truly accept him into your heart
"i am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor ruling spirits, nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us, nothing below us, nor anything else in the whole world will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" romans 8:3-39
paul said it nothing can ever separate us from him

God made a promise to us through His Son Jesus that in accepting Him (Jesus) as your personal Lord and Savior, He will send the Holy Spirit to be with us until He returns for us. It is called the New Covenant and it cannot be broken by anything we do or don't do. Jesus' death enables us to eventually live with God in His glorious Heaven.

There is no reason that the Lord Jesus Christ would leave us, but we walk away for him on a daily basis.

His is always right where we left him. We need only return to that spot, and if we cannot return to that spot, cry out to Jesus, he will lift you out of the pit.

Because He can't or He would be a promise breaker and He can't sin. He made that promise to believers. Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

once you accepted Him, He stays true to His promise. He never leaves you.

you MIGHT leave Him, but He will chase after you with love. He is that desperate, in a good way, in a pure love kinda way. like a Father to a lost son.

when you sin, His presence leaves you, which means you do not experience love, joy, peace, assurance, trust. But, He is still there to help you, if you are willing.

Meg, the only reason that Jesus will "leave you alone" is if you intentionally, willfully, and determinably renounce Him.
And even then, He will be waiting with a hopeful heart and opened arms for you to return to Him.
