Power and strength come from God.
When we receive Jesus Christ and submit to His Lordship, God gives us His Holy Spirit.
"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline."
II Timothy 1:7
"Once God has spoken;
Twice I have heard this:
That power belongs to God; "
Psalm 62:11
"The LORD will give strength to His people;
The LORD will bless His people with peace."
Psalm 29:11
"Seek the LORD and His strength;
Seek His face continually. "
Psalm 105:4
Prayer, and the study of God's word, are the source of our strength.

Even though this is posted in the R & S section - the best answer is to go to the Gym (or something along that line)...
An increased feeling of personal satisfaction - coming from the results you will see even after a short period of time - will help boost your strength (both strength of WILL and BODY). This new-found strength will allow you to feel more courageous (once again - both physically AND mentally) - which will only make you feel MORE strength...
As for how FAITH can help you - it can guide you down the "right" path (morally, at least). From this, you will become stronger (mentally) as you will KNOW that you are doing the RIGHT things in your life - and this will lead to Courage.
If Faith is a new thing for you - try not to get too caught up in EVERY aspect of it. Just use whatever you want to in order to gain the insight you are looking for :):)
Faith can be a great tool - but building an ENTIRE belief structure around it is where things start to go wrong...

Strength is more than just physical - pay no attention to David K.
You need to really reach out. Test yourself. Example - I was always loved to fly. I would get on the craziest rollercoasters, the higher the better. One day, I got on a ride and was terrified. I mean scared to death, out of the blue. For years, I wouldn't fly, wouldn't go to Six Flags, nothing. You couldn't get me on a ladder 10 feet off the ground.
5 years ago, I went to Six Flags with my sister. I decided it was time to get over my fear, so I got on the elevator drop ride. 110 feet up in the air. I kept my eyes open the whole time. And since then, I'm not scared of heights anymore. It may sound simple and childish, but if you force yourself to do things you might not even dream of doing, the courage and strength will come. I know that.

These things can only come from God. Be careful asking for them, He has a way of putting you through fiery trials to gain things like courage and strength. MOst likely, you already have these things and you just need the right circumstances to have them revealed. The Bible says that the joy of the Lord is our strength.

courage is a state of mind and strength is physical. For courage think of what you will do and be prepared to face the concequences if you fail. Strength, just work out and don't give up. Remeber theres a line between stupidity and courage

pray and ask God... but don't expect to wake up the next day with those characteristics... he will send trials and tests to your life to help you build that courage and strength....same works for patience.

What is in your heart will appear on your outside.
If you are wavering inside then you will appear that way on the outside.

When you need them to survive you must reach deep within yourself and bring them out. They are there for you if you try.
