I'm considered a Gnostic Christian. I definitely believe in reincarnation..Let others believe as they will, we all have to find our own "God center". I believe that we all reincarnate many times, each time we come here we learn new lessons and advance our souls. I don't believe any one religion is right and the rest are wrong.
You sound like you're very in touch with your spirituality. The most important thing for us to do while we're on this earth is to love and care for each other. What matters is how we treat people and help people. Isn't that what Jesus was getting at? No, you are not wrong.

I love to see how Quickly the Christians jump in to answer by quoting things from the Bible? Do these people realize that those who don't believe in the Bible are looking at them thinking you're just talking out of your a**? "The Bible says this", "the Bible says that...", OK, and that means?????
Robert H: There is absolutely nothing wrong with you believing or perhaps questioning the possibility of reincarnation. Yes, you CAN believe in God and still believe in reincarnation. You can believe in anything you want, b/c ultimately your believes become your reality. Those who think that this is it, that once you Die there's nothing else, what an empty life to live, not to mention ignorant...
There's absolutely nothing wrong with you hon. Follow your heart, your instinct, the nonjudgemental love for everyone within yourself, and you'll be fine, no matter what you believe in

Christian missionaries to India get that question all the time, as you might imagine. They handle the question by saying that reincarnation is irrelevant to Christianity. And they quote some phrase as the deem appropriate. You are not going to find much in the Bible about it and what little you might think there is, please get a good scholar who knows Biblical Greek to translate it for you. It may not really say what you think it does in the original Greek. So you may make up your own system of reincarnation and decide who administers it and why, but don't confuse that with Christianity.

The Word of God is clear:
"As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more. He shall return no more to his house, neither shall his place know him any more." Job 7:9,10
"So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep." Job 14:12
"For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun." Ecclesiates 9:5,6
Read 1 Timothy 6: 15, 16 (Only God is immortal)
Human beings are MORTAL are not immortal (Genesis 3:22, Ezeziel 18:4, Job 4:17)
Dead people are DEAD. Thats why we call them DEAD if they weren't dead..they would be alive wouldnt they?
The only one who can raise the dead is Jesus (John 11:24,25)
Therefore according to the Scriptures, reincarnation is not found in the Bible. May God bless you as you learn his Word and will for your life!

The reason you can't find any mention of reincarnation in the bible is because it was all removed in 325 AD by power of the Council of Nicea. (which had a lot to do with politics, and not so much with spirituality). The Bible as we know it has been edited and translated many times, so who knows what was originally in it? It is an interesting pursuit to look at the gnostic gospels, and other contemporary writings that were not non-included in what we now know as the Bible.

Reincarnation is normally a pagan belief. You're the first Christian I've heard of that has breathed the word. Have you ever considered the fact that maybe you aren't Christian? Not trying to stir any trouble, just it sounds like you're more open minded and that's not really a Christian quality.

yes, you are wrong. jesus rose from the dead. reincarnation means you come back as something else....he just woke up as the same person. your comments won't upset God. you know when you die you're going to heaven...we don't come back. you can find the resurrection story in all 4 gospels...if you're worshipping Jesus Christ this is kind of an important detail in our religion. Jesus is the only "god" whose grave is not found...it's because He's not dead....He's alive in your heart & mine.
blessings.
corpus christi is wrong...thomas put his finger through the holes in Jesus' hands...that wasn't a ghost.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
It is very clear that we die only once and then we are judged. Therefore, the bible teaches against reincarnation.
