I have no problems with it

After all it the weather wasn't unpredictable I would be out of a job

And the reason the TV and web forecasts are different is that the web ones are only updated a few times a day - the live forecasts are written by the presenters and include much more up to date information in them

I am loving this summer I hate those hot summers where you're sweaty and sticky and irritable and don't know what to do with yourself cos it's too bloody hot to do anything.
It's worth getting a copy of 'Old Moores Almanack' from WH Smiths, it's got all sorts in it from the best time to sow seeds, best time for fishing and monthly weather which so far this year has been spot on because they predict the weather by reading nature rather than relying on computer models. For August Old Moore says "A sunny month. Very high temperatures and almost windless conditions are in store for most of britain. In some western parts and the far north the weather will be cooler and changeable, however. I think they have 2008 edition in smiths already.

Get angry at the tide for coming in and destroying your sandcastle. Makes as much sense as getting angry at the weather. Now getting angry at the dart-throwing weather predictors is different. They guess at what the weather will be and hope they've guessed right.
Get some bright full-spectrum lights and some houseplants and pretend you are sitting outside reading a book. It'll help.

I agree, this English weather really, really sucks!!!!!!!!
I hope it has sorted itself out by the time the kids are off on their hols. I cant stand six weeks of them indoors complaining they are bored by the end of week one! I've got some friends coming over from oz soon and I have told them to bring the sun with them lol. I suppose it is all down to us humans bringing on global warming!

can't say anger is the feeling i have - i think sadness would express my feelings better.

but since i have noticed this since the late 60's i am now hoping for clean air and clean water and waiting to be able to grown palm trees up north and have lil green frogs and lizards roam freely all around - cause there are just some things about the south i love.

Don't even get me started. If the South West of England don't get a thunderstorm on Sunday then I am going to visit them all in the small hours and put a bat up their nightdresses

Yes I understand, I wake up like some watches with solar energy and when sun is not, for me is terrible, I need it, many times when it´s cold I´m like lizard taking the little sun in the garden because I need it. I´d like can understand people who can live without sun long time.

Also fed up with our poxy British summer time, and forecasters who predict it to be our best summers day on the 15th july, when they can't tell you for certain what the weather will be like tomorrow!!!!!!!!!
