Religious fanatics, that's anyone and everyone who belongs to one of the major religions, look down on us Pagans and use bad names and terms to describe us.

The worst insult is to be called a an Unbeliever by a Muslim here in UK. This is my island of Britain and not his. My ancestors came here, the Brythonic Celts, over ten thousand years ago. Don't like my booze way of life, go shoot yourself in the head or blow yourself to bits. See if I care.

I hold the same attitude towards other major religions, most especially the so called Christian Church in the guise of the Church of England, which in the 19th and early 20th century tried to destroy Welsh culture and language.

Thankfully, the great wizard, David Lloyd George took up the challenge. He became PM and one of his first acts was to disestablish the Church of England in Wales. It cannot exist in Wales by law. Damn them to hell for their actions against us. They force my Grandfather of fond memory to wear a heavy wooden placard in school in his own Welsh speaking village in Wales, bearing the words WELSH NOT!

The C of E are a bunch of creeps. The Methodists left the C of E following the death of John Wesley. Can't say I blame them. As for the Catholic church, now lead by the Nazi Bishop of Rome, nothing could be worse.

Those who feel superior are not religious. Religious people should be humble and not showing off his/her religiousity (this exclude of wearing religious outfit, because wearing it is not bragging).

Btw, those who brag themselves of not believing in any God are also superior or snubbing the others who believed in One. He he he... :)

Hmm, I do feel sorry for those people who do not have anything to hold on to. But am not in the place to feel and say that am a religious person. Yet, also to judge whether someone will be going to heaven or hell.

Who is to decide that who will go to hell and who in heaven. Only Allah can. You think that you have done the hedious thing on earth, yet before your death you might do something that may be the reason for Allah to forgive you, who knows? Allah is Most Merciful and most Gracious, he wants to forgive us all, but we must ask him first. But from my religious belief i will tell you this. In one of the Hadith it is said that 5 kind of pious people will go to Hell. I can only remember one,"The person who spends his life learning about his religion and following all the rules, yet he does not teach his neighbor".

Um dont throw rocks at me^_^

It used to make me feel really sad, actually. I finally just accepted the idea that God must know what he is doing; now I just feel resigned to the fact that many people just don't care about their fate enough to do anything about it.

BTW, if someone feels "superior", then Jesus said that this prideful person was not going to Heaven (Luke 13:1-5 & 18:9-14). So no one who is going to Heaven can feel "superior" to anyone else.

The only reason I am not going to burn in hell is because I have acknowledged my own personal unworthiness of heaven and agreed with God's assessment that I am totally incapable of saving myself by any works of my own. I have accepted God's provision, the Lamb of God who bore my sins on the cross so that I might receive the free gift of eternal life through faith in Him.
I don't see where that leaves me or anyone else any room for boasting.

How can I be judgmental about others? I'm not God and don't know who'll go to heaven and who is going to burn in hell. It would be very rediculous if I feel superior, be judgmental or have any kind of self righteous attitude.

No, Christians don't feel superior; in fact we actually feel sorry for those unbelievers. That's why we try to tell people about God & Jesus to help them understand and find faith. I have come across quite a few people here that I have been praying for, who mock God and it's actually very sad. (now adding Chefed#1 to my list.)

For Once and for all ,let me clear this up .
# 1 there is no God
#2 There is no hell
#3 Religious people are nothing more than insecure souls that need to feel inferior to a higher power .
That is easy to understand ,isn`t it ????

Some might, I don't. I am not ontologically better than anyone else, for all are created in the image of God. Salvation comes not by my own merits, but as a free gift of grace available to all.

If not for the grace of God we would all burn in Hell.
Salvation is a gift, not of works, so we can't boast .
We should lead as many as we can to Christ so they to will be saved.
