how do i know that god still loves me?

I'm sooo depressed I think god does not like me because sometimes i feel evil..How do I know i still have the holy spirit with me?

If you have ever accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you have received the Holy Spirit. However, He will not override your will. He will only help you to run your life when you give the reins over to Him. Many people have the Holy Spirit, but they still try to run their own lives. The Holy Spirit will not take control until you submit to His leadership in your life.

However God does still love you.

1Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Because He promises His love to all who believe.
The Holy Spirit doesn't just up and walk out. The Holy Spirit brings us to faith, keeps us there and sanctifies us.
The Holy Spirit works when Jesus is being preached. No Jesus, no HS. The Holy Spirit is not affected by your emotions -- does not come because YOU ask.

You are called by the HS. :-) That's great news -- because it means there's nothing you can do -- so if you're happy, sad, ticked off, down, angsty, anxious or on cloud 9..... Jesus did it ALL for you!

Find your Bible and read John 3:16 about 20 times slowly. Then turn to Philippians 2 and read the chapter, particularly the part on the humility of Christ. Finally read the beginning of I Corinthians 13, Paul's great chapter on love. As you read, remind yourself that that is what God's love is like. Blessings to you. I'll say a prayer for you. Remember this: God knows everything about you and loves you because (and inspite) of it.

Same here... It's as if I have the mood swings.. One mintue I am all sweet and gonna go help the home-less and the next I'm cooking food-poisoning stuff.. Lol.Okay I'm not that mean or that sweet but you get the pic. But my pastor said that we are only human and that we always make mistakes.. So, God will forgive you no matter what you do.. either you kill someone, you rob a bank, whatever, as long as you pray to Him for forgiveness.. God will always know how you feel no matter where you are or no matter what you do.

God does not love you, or hate you, or have any opinion about you whatever: there is no such thing. You are on your own; you have NEVER had the "holy spirit" within you, as that does not exist either.

God's love for us is not based on feelings, its based on the facts in the Word of God.
Salvation is a committment of the mind, will and emotions, but emotions should have 3rd place in the mind of a Christian.
God IS Love! He sent His Son to die in your place and take the punishment which you - and I deserved. That is how much you are loved by God.

He does love you. He loves you infinitely, so much you can't even begin to understand.

If you've done wrong then ask for forgiveness. Confess your sins and worship the Lord.

Offer your depression and pain that you feel and unite it with Jesus' pain in the Garden. Give it to Him for all those who feel like you, or worse.
