road rage was not something that was prevalent 10 years ago. maybe it was because it didn't have a name. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that when we gave it a name, it seemed to give a silent permission to act violent. Now road rage is the cause of murders. doesn't anyone find this interesting? The increase of rapes, molestation, child pronography, and sex slavery, one could argue it is because of the porn industry that uses freedom of speech to push their right to publish it.
It seems to me that we are always pushing the lines of decentsy and morals and values, just so we can prove a point. people have a natural desire for purpose. Civil rights, war, poverty, hunger, and religious persecution are constant problems, they have not been resolved, they have gotten better but there is still progress that needs to be made. Instead of fighting for things that will only harm our world, lets fight to save it.
what are your thoughts?

our children are also getting the short end of this. I AM NOT SAYING THAT THIS IS THE CASE EVERYTIME, but there are parents that don't spend time with there kids. We need to remember that our children are spounges, they react to many things that are around them. and alot of 'acting out' is a normal reaction to something that they are unable to deal with. but now the first thing that people want to do is medicate them....what is going on! how about we as parents spend more time with our kids. and if you can't make the time that you do spend with them...about them. talk to them know them. yea everyone deserves a little privacy, but sometimes if a child commits suicide, or if they do something violent....a lot of parents say the same thing....i had no idea. This is very sad.

None but ourselves created the world we live in. Regardless of what the "issue" may be we don't take responsibility for our own actions. We can be the administrators, idlers, receivers but we all experience it. It's easy for us to dismiss things when we're not the ones on the receiving end of the stick.
When we realize that what we do individually affects all of us in some way and find a constructive way of living together and building together, actually DOING not talking about it. We've been talking about things for eons.
My question is, how come we're not doing anything about it?
If we look for source we will find the answers. Not many are brave enough to dig in their closet. I still avoid my self quite successfuly sometimes.

Mostly Satan is to blame. He rebelled against Jehovah God and with that dragged humanity into the condition it is in today. God is not to blame, for in due time he will eliminate his enemy. 1 John 5:19 says that "We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one." Man's imperfect condition is also to blame for the condition of this world. Ecclesiastes 8:9 says that "man has dominated man to his injury." Only God's kingdom can solve the problems in this world. Satan is to blame. I believe that things will only get worse. Look at the world just 100 years ago and then look at it now. Take the time to disect history and crime. When have we had the most? NOW. Children cant turn on the television without spongebob teaching them sexual innuendos. I flipped out when we saw shrek the language they use and yet we wonder why children have so many issues. Back 100 years ago when moms stayed home and dad worked and their was no tv and no internet was SOOOOOO much safer. TV and the internet are teaching petty thugs to become terrorist.

Don't blame God. He warned mankind not to taste evil, but Adam & Eve thought peace was boring.
People are the authors of the evil in the world. God is just keeping His word to allow us the "inalienable right" to free choise.
Sometimes we cause our own trouble, like my brother who drank and smoked. Both cost him money. The drink took his leg, and smoking (cancer) took his life, spitting up blood from his lungs at the end.
More often it is the sins of others that harm us, like the drunk driver who killed my friend's son.
Should God zap sinners dead on the spot?
His Word says "All have sinned". No one would get to heaven if He did not give us time to repent, and change.
God will make it up to us in the afterlife, for the evils that hurt us on earth.
One of the rewards, for our suffering on earth, is appreciation for the peace of a "boring" sin-free eternity in heaven.
The aborted children will be there too; and we will have to teach them what we learned in this world, so they can appreciate peace with God.

Satan and his demons are around the vicinity of the earth since Jesus threw them out of heaven.
Rev. 12:9 "So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth. He was hurled down to the earth and his angels were hurled down with him."
1 John 5:19 "The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one." (Satan)
So, they are adversely affecting all humans everyday but as Bambi Abi-Jah stated it's ultimately our choice. We choose how to react to everything that happens to us. It's called free will but there are always consequences.

Things like this have always existed. Yea, now they have a name and a psychiatrist to treat it (that's a joke).
I think we hear more about it because we have more and better access to 24/7 news instead of the local news paper, local tv, or local radio.
But, who is to blame for any act of violence committed--the man/woman committing the act of violence.
Man is too proud to admitt to being wrong--there will never be a complete solution. As nice as it sounds and as much as we all (most all of us--think Al Qaida) want it--not in this life time.

1 John 5:19: "We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one. " (Wicked One = Satan The Devil)
During nearly all human history, Satan has had a free hand to work out his schemes of domination over mankind. Among other things, he has wielded influence over the political powers and has promoted religions that subtly direct worship to him rather than to Jehovah. Thus the Devil has become “the god of this system of things,” and he is called “the ruler of this world.” (2 Corinthians 4:4; John 12:31) Indeed, “the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.” (1 John 5:19) Does this mean that Satan has proved his claim that he could draw all mankind away from Jehovah God? Certainly not! While permitting Satan to remain in existence, Jehovah has proceeded to carry out his own purpose. What, then, does the Bible reveal concerning God’s permission of wickedness? Wickedness and suffering are not caused by Jehovah. Since Satan is the ruler of this world and the god of this system of things, he and those on his side are responsible for the present condition of human society and all the misery that mankind has suffered. No one can rightly say that God is the cause of such hardship.—Romans 9:14.
Jehovah’s permitting wickedness and suffering has proved that independence from God has not brought about a better world. Undeniably, history has been marked by one disaster after another. The reason for this is that humans have chosen to pursue their own independent course and have shown no real regard for God’s word and will. When Jehovah’s ancient people and their leaders unfaithfully pursued “the popular course” and rejected his word, the results were disastrous. Through his prophet Jeremiah, God told them: “The wise ones have become ashamed. They have become terrified and will be caught. Look! They have rejected the very word of Jehovah, and what wisdom do they have?” (Jeremiah 8:5, 6, 9) Having failed to follow Jehovah’s standards, mankind in general has become like a ship without a rudder, tossed about in a turbulent sea. God’s permission of wickedness and suffering has also proved that Satan has not been able to turn all mankind away from Jehovah. History shows that there have always been individuals who have remained faithful to God no matter what temptations or adversities were brought upon them. Over the centuries, Jehovah’s power has been manifested in behalf of his servants, and his name has been declared in all the earth. (Exodus 9:16; 1 Samuel 12:22) Hebrews chapter 11 tells us about a long line of faithful ones, including Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, and Moses. Hebrews 12:1 calls them ‘a great cloud of witnesses.’ They were examples of unwavering faith in Jehovah. In modern times too, many have given their lives in unbreakable integrity to God. By their faith and love, such individuals prove conclusively that Satan cannot turn all humans against God.
Finally, Jehovah’s allowing wickedness and suffering to continue has provided proof that only Jehovah, the Creator, has the ability and the right to rule over mankind for their eternal blessing and happiness. For centuries, mankind has tried many forms of government. But what has been the result? The complex problems and crises facing the nations today are ample evidence that truly, as the Bible points out, “man has dominated man to his injury.” (Ecclesiastes 8:9) Only Jehovah can come to our rescue and fulfill his original purpose. How will he do this, and when? Right after Adam and Eve fell victim to Satan’s scheme, God announced His purpose regarding a means of salvation. This is what Jehovah proclaimed regarding Satan: “I shall put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He will bruise you in the head and you will bruise him in the heel.” (Genesis 3:15) That proclamation guaranteed that the Devil would not be allowed to do his evil deeds forever. As the King of the Messianic Kingdom, the promised Seed, Jesus Christ, will ‘bruise Satan in the head.’ Yes, “shortly,” Jesus will crush the rebel Satan!—Romans 16:20.

Jesus said:
"He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters."
Matthew 12:30
Every individual is either a part of the solution or a part of the problem.
The Bible teaches that the whole world is subject to a principle of corruption that was introduced into the creation through sin. When this principle runs its course the inevitable outcome is total destruction.
God deals with this firstly by dealing with the moral corruption in the hearts of men. His only solution for corrupted sinners is execution. The mercy of God is that the execution already took place when God visited upon Jesus the sins of the whole world when He died as the God appointed representative of the human race. Having been raised from the dead, He imparts as a free gift a new life principle which is free from corruption. This is received by faith and the operation of the Holy Spirit in a new spiritual birth. Thus the spirit of man is redeemed; the soul begins a process of sanctification, and the process culminates in the resurrection of the body in an immortal and incorruptible form. God promises also that in due time He will re-create the heavens and the earth, and that they will be free from the principle of corruption.
"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently."
Romans 8:18-25

The influence is from Satan the Devil and his demons.
But, ultimately it is MAN.
It's Man's Choice.
Mankind has dominated mankind to his own ruin.
edit: kr_toronto,
She God aka Jehovah is not part of the earth,
right now; so u'd have to attribute the deaths
to none but, Satan the Devil, the wicked one.
U r ascribing to God, Jehovah
an atrocity, that He, did NOT commit.
