I do not know what this stuff is. I assumed they all had a cold, but I think this is contagious. I have a cat who now has the same thing. It looks awful.

Kittens get eye infections regularly (due to the mother cleaning their bums then their faces), however if they are sneezing it sounds like an eye infection could of begun to turn into cat flu. Take them straight to the vet as they will need antibiotics.

Yes, it's a cat cold, and does look awful but it goes away in 2 weeks, just like our colds. You won't catvj it from them, this is cat related only.

Use a kleenex to clean their eyes for them. Make sure they keep eating--sometimes with stuffed up noses they don't know food is there--and they'll be ok soon. The vet can give antibiotics but they take at least a few days to work on their systems and if they're already peaking with the worst, you'll be over the hump before the meds kick in.

But if you're worried, or if they seem worse off, yes most definately let the vet check them out. Cat colds can be harder on some cats than others and they may need help with it.

It's a URI (upper respiratory infection) and it's very contagious.

It can really be hard on kittens, who get dehydrated easily, and it makes cats of all ages lose their appetites -- if cats can't smell their food, they won't eat.

It won't clear up by itself -- sorry, but a visit to the vet is a must.

That would be an Upper Respiratory Infection, they need to be treated with antiboiotics (usually Terramycin is perscribed). You need to visit the vet and get this taken care of, its not a fun thing for babies to have.

Take the cat to the vet. That indicates an infection.

it is most likely an upper respitory infection the only way to get rid of it is a trip to the vet for antibiotics
