Such an easy one. The Docs gave me two to six over a year ago. So I came to grips with that question a while back. I'm going to be thinking of Jesus when I go. Expecting to see his face in the next second.
Death holds no fear for me. It is the final cure for all woes. If you are born again and if you truly believe.
My God made a plan put it in a book. Sent his Son to save us all from death. So a direct answer yes Christianity teaches there is no need to fear death.
Go to church even if you don't like the people a lot. Opinions change. If you don't own a study bible get you one. I like Thompson but pretty high price.
Meanwhile, bibleresources.com check out different translations. gracethrufaith.com An anointed teacher with lots of studies ready to read in plain English. I pray for your salvation and envy your new beginning. God Bless!

Jimmy Carter will become the Antichrist aka Dajjal (8th King in Rev. 17) and he will serve yet another term in workplace after the dying of Obama (seventh king). The angel Gabriel informed me in Aug. 1973 whilst i became in Phillipsbrug, Montana that Jimmy Carter will become the Anti-Christ, and that he is going to alter his call, and divorce his spouse! Obama is going to die first and then the Anti-Christ aka Dajjal who became between the previous 7 Presidents will take his place! Rev. 17:10 And there are seven kings: 5 are fallen, and one is, [and] the different isn't yet come; and whilst he cometh, he ought to proceed a short area. All 7 kings have been all alive till the dying of Ronald Reagan June 5, 2004 whilst George W. Bush became in workplace ; a million. Gerald Ford 2. Jimmy Carter 3. Ronald Reagan 4. George H. W. Bush 5. bill Clinton 6. George W. Bush.... is spoken of interior the present demanding (and one is) as a results of fact till Reagan died (June 5, 2004) all 7 have been alive! 7. Barack Obama.......and one is yet to return! he will die some days after he will boost taxes! Obama is likewise in Dan. 11:20 Then shall arise in his property a raiser of taxes [in] the honour of the dominion: yet interior of few days he would be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in conflict. Rev. 17:11 And the beast that became, and isn't, even he's the 8th, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

I have no fear of death (although I am concerned that the process of dying itself could be unpleasant). In the religion I follow, death is considered a natural and essential part of existence, as well as an inevitable one; Wiccans accept death and while we mourn the loss of those we love in this life, many of us believe that they have gone to be with the Gods and will, in time, find new life through reincarnation. This leads to an attitude of peace and a reduction of suffering because we do not fight the process when our time comes.
If I had a terminal disease with only days to live, I would see about getting myself a spot in a hospice, and if I had the energy I would throw a large get-together for my friends and family, to see them and enjoy their company one last time. Then I would put myself in the care of experienced doctors and let nature take its course.

I am a Christian and I do not fear death, because I know where I will spend eternity. If I had a terminal illness I would spend a lot of time leaving legacies to my family (children and grandchildren), and do those things that would put the "finishing touches" on my work here.
Jesus came to give us His peace...if you would like to know more, e-mail me, I'd be happy to help you.

The Bible says, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord..." it is scriptures such as this one which keeps me in total peace. If you only knew what is store for you in Heaven you wouldn't mind the thought of leaving this evil world.
However, if you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior you have every reason to be afraid of death. Hell is real, people may joke about it but it is nothing to joke about. Once you're in hell there's no exits, you're there forever and ever.
I'd rather believe in God and find out I was wrong than to not believe in Him and discover that He does exist how about you?
My last thoughts would most likely be on my family and their welfare after I'm gone. But first and foremost I would place my mind on Jesus and the wonderful life I will have when I get to heaven.

I would spend as much time with my children as possible and I would tell my ex husband exactly what I think of him.
As for having total peace? I'm not sure what you mean, I don't fear death now, and i don't have any particular belief that makes it easier. I just realize that death is part of life's natural cycle. There is no need to fear it. The only fear I have is not watching my children grow.

DRUGS, and lots of them.
Actually I won't fear death ever. I was with my Aunt while she was very close to death. I was with her through most of it. I got tired and placed my arm on her, I was taken from the top of my head and taken to the most incredible place. I saw my aunt. The light was beautiful, but there was no source She was younger and had a beautiful dress on. The surroundings were gorgeous! I heard her tell me that this was where she was going so I was to stop worrying about her. It really happened. I believed her. When I left that place, it was in through my head and then I was just sitting there next to her. She died shortly after. She is free, where she wants to be, and very happy. I can' say that about most of us here!
Blessed Be

My thoughts would be for my husband, my children and my church family.
I don't fear death, but the thought of the process of dying is very troublesome. I am confident that at the moment of my death, when my spirit leaves my body, that I will be instantly joined with my Savior Jesus and loved ones that have gone before me. That gives me peace.

Well since Hell and going to heaven do not exist...all made up by the catholic church to scare people.....i would not fear as long as I knew that my relationship with God is a good one. If not then I would try to do the most to make that so and know that I will rest until the day comes for him to rid this world of all evil and make it a paradise.
