I just recently went out with someone I went to high school with. He gradutated 2 years ahead of me. We had fun. We went to dinner and then back to his house and watched a couple of movies, then he brought me home. NOTHING HAPPENED EXCEPT A QUICK GOODNIGHT KISS!!! IT"S BEEN 22 YEARS!!! He did say that next time we would try a different place to eat.

Please give me some advice on how you see this situation.

Sounds like he wants to see you again. You are both completely different people then you were in high school. You can't just pick up where you left off. Go out with him again and see if you like the grown up he has become. If it works, good for you. If it doesn't, you two just grew in different directions and that happens sometimes.

IF you are 'single' then you have a 'choice' ... you can 'wait' for him to call you, or you can call him and invite him for dinner ... either at your place, or at a restaurant that is 'different' from the first place you went. This is the 21st century, and women are supposed to be 'equal' and if you 'like' this guy, or even 'wonder how much you like him' then YOU can do the 'inviting' ... and he will probably actually be very happy if you do.

What does your heart tell you to do? Follow your gut. I've known you for a long time and you generally make good decisions. Hey worst case scenario you might swing a date for your upcoming high school reunion.

I think its great!! If you had fun with the guy in the past, and he is still talking to you 22 years later.....then try to start something more with him! You never know what could happen as a result of it :).

He's screwed up many relationships by jumpin' on the first date, so years have slowed him down to see how good of a fit you may be.

Sounds like hes just trying to keep it slow, maybe he had a bad experince and hes trying to take things slow. Ask him a couple of personal questions, try to find out what happend to his last relationship.
