We mostly agree in this country(U.S.) that something major has to be done to stem the tide of illegal immigrants from flooding our country and bogging down our judicial, welfare, and legislative systems. I just wonder if any of our citizens can come up with a decent idea to work with since our lawmakers can't, and maybe we can submit the best ideas to our state representatives, although it is highly unlikely they will be competent enough to review them adequately...lol

first of all, i agree with the problem, however i think illegal immigrants reduce the cost of inflation. Watch the movie "A day without a Mexican" some of those jobs around America allow people to do jobs that NOBODY else would at a decent price. It's the people that are working for $6 per hour that keep the prices of products produced by businesses at a minimum. Imagine paying the same guy, a citizen, $22 per hour for the same job because no one else wants to do it. That would cause businesses to charge more, and the people that they get their products from would charge more
Business that pay "under the table" have a low over head cost to run their business as much as some people scam SSI and cause accidents and driving without insurance or a license probably balances out. It's funding unnecessary wars are what destroys are economy.

A wall would work but would be inneficient. If we would just ban the illegal immigrants from our school systems and health care they would not come here. It is that simple. If you arent a legal immigrant or a born citizen you can't simply use the health care system or schooling.
They would realize they would either die or have their kids grow up without schooling, and have no reason to come here.
Or we could let the border patrol actually keep them out using force. Non lethal of course.

It would actually be very easy, if we were willing to. All we would have to do would be to paint a big line on the border, and periodically shoot 1-2 that cross it. In a very short period of time, others will get the word.

The AMERICAN PEOPLE can seal our border by voting for a President In 2008 that believes what WE THE PEOPLE believe. Go after the EMPLOYERS of illegals,CLARIFY the 14th Amendment to stop automatic birthright citizenship,and DENY benefits to illegals, that are supposed to be reserved for AMERICAN CITIZENS.
