What is the best way to wrestle a hog in a mud pit?

I am in a 4-H event tonight. We have to wrestle a hog and put in on a 55-gal. barrel. Any suggestions?

If you get close enough just wrap your arms around his middle and hold on for dear life. Once it stops pick it up and carry it carefully to the barrel.
