I am not real big on tattoos. They are cool when you are young, but look trashy as you get older. I couldn't even tell what my grandpa's tattoo was! Eeek! If you get one, consider getting one in a place where you can hide the tattoo if you need to. Some employers don't like them. Where I work, the ladies with tattoos on their ankles must wear bandaids over them when they wear heels or sandals with skirts. It is part of the dress code. If you really must get a tattoo, go small and classy. My friend had Metallica tattoed on her ankle when we were in high school. I am glad that they made a comeback and are still around, but Jeez! A 34 year old lady with metallica on her ankle? Think long and hard about this decision!

it depends on you and the type of personality you have, what you like... no one really knows what you like... you could pick a tat that represents something that has a personal meaning, I have a dolphin on my ankle because it reminds me of someone special that I lost a long time ago. I got it when I was eighteen.
As for some suggestions, a small pair of angel wings, would be really pretty. or a small rose, something tribal. A butterfly, A sun and moon, my mom has a chinese dragon and it is very beautiful... In the end though it really is up to you

I got the Chinese character for magic on my ankle. It has personal significance since I got it when I converted to wicca. Get something you won't tire of looking at and has some significance. Remember, your ankle is a small surface to work with so get something simple so it won't blur as you age.

That is for you to decide, I hate to be of no help.
I don't think people take tattoos seriously.
I am all for tattoos I think it should resemble you.
It should mean something for the rest of your life.
Not a phase you grow out of. So i'd give it some time.
Choose something think about it for a long time.
Then decide if you really want it.

Is this your first tattoo?
Make sure it has MEANING to you! Don't just do it because you think it's a cool design, or really pretty. I have friends who have done and regrett this.

Of course make sure it's really cute though :)

It's too hard for us to answer, since we don't know you.
I hope to get a tattoo if this little stick kitty cat that I like to draw, someday. Not sure where I want it though!

Never ever ask someone else about what kinda tattoo you should put on your body. it's your body. your gonna be stuck with it the rest of your life. choose something that actually means something to you. Tattoos are an art form. not a fashion statement.

Someone told me long ago that if I was not sure what I wanted that I should not get anything because I would be getting a tatoo just to get one.
If you do not know what you want - you should wait. I did finally figure out what I wanted and I am glad that I came up with it all on my own, because it has a very significant meaning to me. . .

Honestly if you are asking you shouldn't get one. But pick something out original or give the artist something original to work with. Mka eit your own, so you can say you are the only person in the world who has it.
