When you start to feel a cold coming on, take Vitamin C. If you take it every couple of hours you might be able to fight the cold off. Even when full-blown sick you should still take Vit. C. However, when it comes to medicine - the two best things I have found is Sudafed and Ibuprofen. I'm not usually one to take medicine though. Vitamin C has always worked for me. They also have things you can drink - like Theraflu (if you can deal with the taste). And regular green tea is always good as well.

Take Zinc. It boosts your immune system, and helps you get over a cold faster. You can even keep taking them after your cold is gone, and you will notice that you don't get sick as often. I also highly reccomend Flax Seed Oil. It is very good for you, its full of Omega 3 Fatty Acids. Also Vitamin C is good for you (OJ) Hope you feel better!

It will make you smell a little funny, but eating garlic helps me when I have a cold. Real garlic- if the cloves are tiny, you can swallow them whole, but usually you gotta chew them.
