No tiltshift lens. Just a plain old digital camera on Auto setting.

I upped the contrast in the second one. It's not overexposed.

Yup, it was taken from a rather boring four hour car trip. Check out my flickr for my better ones.

At least the second one is somewhat interesting, although the face is blown and the lighting harsh. I didn't care for either one.

The power line one has overexposure in the sky to the point that the lines have disappeared into the wash. Combined with the flat lighting it is just boring in treatment. I didn't care for the blurred foreground or the wall or whatever it is behind the foreground. Did you shoot it from a moving vehicle? Power lines and such structures can be intriguing to shoot, with a little planning and better lighting. you could make a nice image there. Try again.

Hope this helps you thrive.

The face in the second picture is overexposed, by the looks of it, probably because of a too strong flash. Better lighting would make a huge difference on that image.

I would suggest downing the contrast because the face looks washed out. To be quite honest, but photos are bad, neither one is really great but the second one would be better without the washout.

i like the second one and the first one would be a lot better without that big grey thing along the back, but you cant reallly help that, now can you? is that a tiltshift lens in the first one?
