Technically Ford never says... just no shifting above 50 mph

But I'd go with others and say 55 mph... unless you are running the Baja 1000, out in the Aussie Outback, or something of that nature, you won't be doing more than 55 over non paved roads as gravel and paved roads have a habit of binding up the front wheels and will cause steering issues.

I don't think that the owner's manual gives you a top speed. I have never looked. On mine, if I can drive 60-80mph then I don't figure that I need to be in 4X4.

Ford also makes AWD cars and SUV's. So you can drive those as fast as you want, then you can do the same with the 4X4. good luck.

STOOOOOOOOOOOP dont be trying to go real fast in a 4X4 your gonna blow up your transfer case dont go faster than maybe like 60 also dont drive on paved /cement surfaces in 4x4 specially while turning youll wear all your powertrain components real fast if not break a couple of expensive things in your ford

it is not smart to do more than about 35 if you want your rig last long. You are asking for trouble if you go higher. And thats with the hubs unlocked! If the hubs are locked in, dont do more than 20-25, if you dont want to cause problems early on with your vehicle maintenance. You can go faster but it is not wise, and you are just asking to create big problems.
