So, assuming that the shower will be hosted by the bridesmaids, but held at the home of the bride's grandmother (who is very gracious and has a lovely space for the event)...Who should greet the guests? Should it be one of the bridesmaids? The Grandmother? Another family member who will know all of the guests? What is the appropriate etiquette here?

The host. The person who is sending the invites. In this particular case I would say the Maid of Honor and the grandmother as she is having the house. The other bridesmaids should introduce themselves to everyone as well but if there are a lot of bridesmaids that might make the entrance too crowded. Definitely the grandmother counts as a host--and if she choses not to come to the door, she should be introduced by the MOH to each person as they enter.

The bridesmaids are the hostesses, but of course the Grandmother will be there front and centre since it is her home.

I think a bridemaid and the grandmother should greet the guests.

I agree, whoever is hosting the party, preferably whoever sent out the invites and who was named on the invitation for guests to RSVP to.
