It really depends on the class and agent involved.

Class A extinguishers are meant for ordinary combustibles and are generally water or water with some foam additive. If you let this rip in someone's ear, they make get wet... and probably annoyed.

Class C, BC, and ABC extinguishers will vary. Some rely on carbon dioxide. Those could probably cause frostbite. Some are a compressed dry chemical agent, which could irritate the eyes and mucus membranes. Halon is banned from new production and is being phased out. This could make the person light-headed and pass out.

Class D and K extinguishers are not all that common. Class D is for metal fires and usually uses Salt or Copper. Class K is a new designation for kitchen fires, but there's not too many of these extinguishers specifically marketed yet.

I would say over all, the worst case scenario is frostbite and a little ringing in the ears. That scene from Terminator with the fire extinguisher? Total fiction.

First of that isn't something you'd want to do.

Second extingushers should only be use if there is a fire, or if there is a fire you wouldn't have an extingusher

No. yet, confess, i'm usually tempted to realize this each and every time I see somebody with great adorns of their piercing. this is not that i want to be advise... i'm only usually tempted to furnish those issues a useful tug/pull. i wouldn't in any respect gain this. this is rude.

There is no need to ask this question. It's something no sane person would ever do.
