If this leads to a weakness then it should be avoided. Scantily cladness is the most... practical way of dress at a beach.
Many cultures think that the common western fascination with the female breast is ridiculous, sexist, and unhealthy.

The beach is not the place to go if you want to avoid temptation. In fact, the Lord's Prayer says "Lead us not into temptation." And there are some places a Christian should not go or should not take your family; in other words, don't lead yourself into temptation.
There may be private beaches you could to to, or wonderful places to hike in the mountain near lakes and streams.
Do you notice in the the Bible that after Noah's flood, unmarried women wore veils to hide their innocence. Today women wax their privates and wear shoe-string wear to display it all.
This is to be expected because this is the generation that will meet the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah.
God reveals the timing of the conflict between good and evil, and we are definitely living at the end of the days. Select http://abiblecode.tripod.com

P.S. For the same reason I have my t.v. fixed to a Christian station. My house is a haven on earth.

Are you worried about having impure thoughts about the "scantily clad" people, or are you worried about them having impure thoughts about you or what? I wouldn't worry about it, because God doesn't want you to worry about anything... just don't have impure thoughts, think happy and pure thoughts and even if they think impure thoughts, you won't be affected. If you really can't control yourself, and you yourself have impure thoughts, then consider not going, or maybe you can go to an empty beach or one where there is mostly old people and children.

I think you should first put the towel on the beach, kneel on it and talk to god. Next you should broom the sand from the beach together woth the scantily clad people.
enjoy.

I'm Christian and go to the beach every possible chance I get (maybe that's why my grades weren't too hot in high school?).
Of course I don't go to the clothing optional beaches, or certain parks known for drug trafficking.

Go to the beach and enjoy the sun and surf.
Christians do it every day.
Most of us love enjoying God's creation. The beach is one place where most of us feel close to God. What a wonderful world He has given to us!
No suggestions are needed, but thanks for your kind concern.

A modest suit for yourself and your family should do just fine.
Avoid the heavily populated "hot" spots of darkened hearts and depravity for your entire families spiritual health.
