My husband and I are willing to adopt since we can't have anymore children.

Well, figure out where you want to adopt from as a first step.

Do you want to adopt a foster child (virtually cost free), do you want a private domestic adoption, an international adoption?

Once you figure out where, you can begin to research ways to go through the process. The easiest (although not cheapest) way to adopt internationally is to use an agency, for example. If you want to adopt from China, look up all the agencies with China programs, research them, their procedures, regulations and fees, call their references and ask anyone who might know about them (you can go to http://www.adoption.org to visit a forum where you can ask about an agency).

I hope this helps get you on your first steps.

Try Crisseless House! (SP?? Sorry!) That's where I was adopted from, and have had the best life! They really look for stable parents too, so you would have good luck I think!

Are you saying you are going to adopt out your future children, because you can't afford to keep them or are you saying that you want to adopt because you can't give birth? Goodness! The question looks like you are advertising your children to us.

If you're advertising to adopt, then you're in the wrong place- take out a classified. If you're asking how to go about adopting then look in your local yellow pages under adoption & they'll put you in touch with someone who can walk you through it.

Sorry, but being "willing" to adopt is not what adoption is about.

And soliciting for birthmothers is not what this site is about.
