Even if your bone structure was small, I think 104 lbs is too thin. What happens if you get ill (flu etc) and lose another 4-5 lbs? You need alittle extra weight on your bones. Figure 3-5 lbs per inch - so you are 5 inches over 5' - you could weigh 115-125 for your size and look healthy and just as beautiful as you do at 104 and won't have to answer any questions about whether you are anorexic or not. You'll just look healthier! Good luck. p.s. I have a 16 year old daughter and understand what you are going through. Take care.

Wow, Im 5-3 ish and 123.... 40 lbs in 9 months is a pretty rapid loss. I dont think anorexia is a good thing. If you recognize that you 'have it' you should definatly talk to a doctor or nutritionist about your weight. They can help dicide if you are underweight or healthy. It all depends on you bone structure. : )

40 is quite a lot of weight to lose, so i think yo uprobably have a problem. I think that yeah you are on the thin side, but not too bad. Just DO NOT go under 100 pounds other wise it is just sick. Plus, sticks are not attractive. Hope I helped!

I don't think 104 seems to small for your height...... only thing is that losing 40 pounds is pretty significant. As long as your healthy I guess it's all good.

i does no longer say it is too skinny, i could say it is ideal! in all possibility in accordance to "nationwide standards" you would be considered too skinny, yet don't be concerned approximately it. as long as you like the load you're at, you will desire to be happy.

However you feel comfortable. As long as you're not starving yourself, working out like a maniac and eating healthily and normally you're fine. If you don't want to gain weight, then don't unless a doctor has told you to. Just continue to eat healthy.

at 5'5" you should be around 118 to 120. less looks to "edgy" or skeletal. A little over that looks good too.
Good luck
