lying is purposeful. It isn't the state of not knowing or not knowing the truth. However, you are accountable for using your brain and making smart decisions.

Well um, "Th-ow" do you mean thou? "shal" do you mean shall?

I've known a number of Mormons and would call them friends. You don't have to be mean to be wrong. I'm not judging you, but I think you're wrong. You have a right to believe whatever you like,and I have a right to believe you're wrong.

I'm not sure what you mean, but if you are claiming that lying of any kind is a sin, you are right. If I were you, however, I would be more concerned with being a false witness, that's a sin too.

I do not lie about my past, I am all up in your grill, if you don't like my tainted, wild past, you can choose not to beleive it, you can deny it like my father did and my mother, they denied they abused me and they are the ones that did the abusing, imagine that...my ward had some pretty messed up mental people in it to, and if you don't liek that either, it my experience you can delete my answer or just not believe me, but my experience is my own, it is not a lie and if you don't like it then thats your problem, not mine.

Good question... Unfortuantely, many people who say untrue stuff about us are merely regurgitating the BS they've been fed about us by anti-s or by former members (who obviously are jaded and/or severely biased). They haven't actually done any research themselves.
