Okay there guys.........you who are so pedantic. What makes you think I have not studied the theory of evolution? You are assuming, aren't you? The more I learned about evolution the more I realized it took more faith to believe in that, than to believe in a God Who created all things. Go and read the first two chapters of Romans in the Bible. You have to realize that millions of folks all over the world have also studied evolution, and came to the conclusion that it is a huge attempt to deny the very existence of the God Who created all things.

communicate origins is an exceedingly stable advent and provides a stable dissection of creationist claims and precisely why they are incorrect besides as relating the data for evolution. the subject which you do not understand (and a important component for many human beings not accepting evolution) is that it would not in good shape smartly into the school room technology test the place you could surely show the thought, i.e. drop 2 diverse sized balls and see that they hit the floor on a similar time. extra, there is massive quantities of study that has been executed, yet maximum of it has a tendency to be incredibly professional previous extreme college tiers. Dawkin's modern e book "the great teach on the earth" could be a stable reference. The links decrease than ought to supplement others given to you. submit to in ideas, you should verify the components noted and double verify claims that are made. Be skeptical and purpose and don't settle for something at face value or only because of the fact it sounds lifelike.

I agree with The Great Gazoo. According to what you have written, you have clearly not studied evolution very carefully (can you even name book you've read?). You do not know what you're talking about and you seem unwilling to learn.

Believers are so funny... you talk about the virtues of being humble but go around pretending you understand scientific concepts better than scientists. Have you ever thought about why most Christians in the world believe in evolution? Have you ever thought about how almost all scientists believe in it?

I doubt you will ever look into it. It is clear you really do not want to understand what you believe.

You obviously haven't studied well enough.

Evolution in no way denies god or god's role in creation.

Evolution only denies the biblical account of creation. Many christians and christian denominations have no problem with evolution. They feel that god can work through the evolutionary process.

Christians (at least most christians) have accepted that the bible was wrong when it said the Earth was a flat circle, when it said there was only one continent and it floated on water, or when it said that the stars were just lights in the firmament that would one day fall to earth like untimely figs. One day you will come to understand that the evolution is just another area where the bible can be regarded as allegorical rather than factual.

Until then, don't think that those who believe in evolution haven't studied the bible.

I honestly don't know, but my guess is that "creation" is a
simple and less hard to understand theory about how
everything came to be,while Evolution is too complicated
because the science goes much deeper, not to say that
evolution isn't right.I think only God or the intelligent designer
of the universe would have a definitive answer to your
question

Evolution is not an atempt to deny God, although some people may make it look that way.

Still, it is true, evolutionists are increadibly pedantic.

Again don't say it takes faith to believe in evolution, it offends my faith and my work and it is a lie

actually its an attempt to discover where we came from. how life developed over the course of the billions of years there was life on this earth. and why do you assume that we haven't read the bible? i haven't personally but many atheists have and still go with evolution over "god did it". yes it is easier to say 'god did it' and go on with your life but you loose out on all the information available to you.

sometimes the easier "explanation" isn't always the correct one. i find in this case it just proves how lazy you are to accept a new idea, a new piece to the puzzle because it contradicts what a book says.

A baby gazelle is born with a mutation that allows it to see better thus giving it a better chance for survival. It passes the gene along to half of it's offspring who then have a better chance at survival. They pass it to half of their offspring and so on and so on. In the meantime, the gazelles without the gene are killed as prey more often reducing their #'s over time until none remain. The only remaining gazelles would have the gene. That's called evolution. It happens over loooonngggg periods of time. You can't understand this??? Not all mutations are for the better of course and that gene dies out quickly.

Evolution isn't a gorilla gave birth to a human, it's gradual changes over time.....and it's a proven fact because it happens continually with the discovery of new species and the extinction of others.

What makes you think some of us didn't read the bible from cover to cover and came to the conclusion that we don't believe in it? Don't forget some of us have been in a religion before turning atheists ( I was a Christian).

Just because you and the millions of people you speak of decided to believe in God, it doesn't mean the rest has to.

Having read your question I don't have to assume.Firstly you have to understand the scientific definition of the word theory.
It means the rules and standards by which a subject is scientifically studied.
Faith is not needed to believe in evolution as it is a proven fact unlike the bible which can offer no proof or even evidence

To learn about evolution you have to choose from all sources. It's not enough to choose ONLY talkorigins OR answersingenesis. That isn't study. You have to look at what CHALLENGES your ideas. So unless you have done this kind of study, you seem incredibly fixed in your ideas.

And yes, I have. I've read more refutations of evolution by theists than most theists would have patience for. I'm also quite well qualified to comment on the pro- side of the debate.
