But the fact is that he is already talking to other girls and lying about it to his girlfriend, even though he hasn't officially broken up with her. Hasn't she already "lost" him, at least in the emotional sense? Would it be worth it to even stay with him. I say no. Your thoughts?

They've been together almost 3 years and living together. No kids yet, but even with his lies she still wants to stay with him to "prove" her love, as though that will "make" him love her and change somehow? I can't imagine bringing a child into this.

I think she is wasting her time and effort!! He is clearly not interested in continuing that relationship. He does not respect her at all if he is already talking to other girls. If I were your friend, I would break up with him. You are right about it: SHE ALREADY LOST HIM. Be a good friend I make her realize she has to let him go, for her emotional well being and self esteem.

To some extent, yes, if he's talking to other girls and being dishonest to her. But he isn't "gone for good", so all is not completely lost. It could be worth it to stay with him- depends on how long they've been together and the status of the relationship (ie engaged, living together, newbies?) The more invested in the relationship, the more "worth" it has in my eyes. She needs to talk to him and let him know exactly how hurt she is by his deceit, and if he does not change, then dumping him is the best option.

Do what you can to talk her out of trying to start a family with him, but if she refuses to see the evidence and you can't get him to be honest with her, there really isn't anything you can say that will persuade her to move on before she's ready to accept the truth.

Its not worth it if he is already wondering to the next girl. if he really cared, then those other girls wouldn't even matter,

Like a stuffed belly wouldn't care about a donut.

She needs to be slapped. She has lost him. Apparently he doesn't want to be together if he is talking to other chicks..or he could just be plain unfaithful. No one should have to deal with an unfaithful partner. She is going to end up hurting herself more by not letting him go.

I think she should kick him to the curb. She lost him a long time ago.
