I hear ya. Everyone seems to want a quick fix and it doesn't happen. One of the doctors I work for told me, "You didn't gain weight overnight, and it's unrealistic to expect it to come off overnight."

Most the people asking those questions are not very over weight. So therefore they usually have not been on diets [because they ask for a signifacant amount of weight loss in a short amount of time] telling you they havnt obviolsly stepped foot in the ":real" diet world. I agree i mean comon' 2 days 1 week isnt enough time to lose your 10 pounds . That wont even make that much of a difference in appearance nor health . Sadly tons of people still do this stuff and many people find it annoying .

It's definitely not supposed to happen overnight. I've answered so many questions and tried to help people understand what happens when you push it. You can make yourself sick or even die. There's a chart I found online to help people see the ideal weights they might aim for. In no means is this the full meal definitive chart, but it's good. It gives an idea. Only proper diet, exercise and commitment to being consisent in these areas is going to make a difference. There are no short cuts or healthy "quick and easy" ways to do this.

Just recently, a few models have died from starving themselves. I always thought they were too skinny anyway, but now they're dead and can't fix that. You can only do what you can do. Eat right and exercise, people!!

I think they're probably just panicking about X event happening in 2 days and are desperate/hoping for a miracle. And, for some reason, people don't ever seem to search for the answer to their question before they ask it...
