there are lots of 'religions'.... there are facts that make that true... so basically... there are many true religions...

now if you had asked if they think it is the RIGHT path? I would say... yeah... I believe that Jesus Christ is the one true way....

Religion has no value or purpose, if people don't understand its true meaning, if they did we would not have had so many killings in the name of religion, so as such each religion is a farce, and each religion is true, depends on one's personal interpretation. I am a Hindu, but I respect all religions, and I find the concepts of Christianity very fascinating, but I dont think that either of these 2 religions are the only or the most important of the many routes to God.

Actually, the Pope thinks that only ONE type of Christianity is the true religion. And I disagree with that.

All religions are exclusive.
Many non–Christians are offended by the "exclusiveness" of Christianity. Can anything be said in response?
A) Christianity is "universal" in the sense that Jesus invites all people everywhere to receive the gift of eternal life made possible by the death on the cross.

B) Since many basic tenets of different religions are contradictory, someone has to be wrong.

C) Exclusivity seem unavoidable. Who wants to board a commercial airplane on which the pilot is not exclusively committed to a safe landing? "Doesn’t the pluralist believe exclusively that several religions provide acceptable paths to God?" The exclusion of exclusivity is also exclusive.

D) Christianity’s uniqueness arises not from the narrow–mindedness of individual Christians, but from the extraordinary claims of Jesus Christ, attested by those who were eyewitnesses of His life, death, and resurrection.

All other religions are diametrically opposed to Christianity on the most crucial question: "Who is Jesus Christ?" They deny that Jesus is God, that He rose again after dying on the cross, and that because of His death, we can have forgiveness of sin.

No one questions the sincerity and intensity of the faith of, for example, a Buddhist monk. But sincerity or intensity of faith does not create truth. Faith is no more valid than the object in which it is placed.

The question must be, "What is true?" Read the original accounts and see what Jesus claimed about Himself. Not every religion can be true. Most are mutually contradictory. Either one is true and the others are false, or they are all false. Either Christ is who he said He is or He is not. If He is not, then He was lying, He was sincerely deluded, or the stories were all made up about Him.

If Jesus is who He said He is, then Christianity is true and He is the only way to God.

I don't think I know it is!!. The only true Church is the Roman Catholic Church founded by Jesus Christ. Protestants are NOT Christians and should quit calling themselves Christians. If you said Jesus made a mistake in the Church He founded how can you believe He is God? Therefore, how can you call yourselves Christians? I do however believe that we have a forgiving God and God will let non Christians who led a good life at some point into heaven.

If I commented like I wanted to on what the pope said my message would probably be deleted. There is only one God and he is not a human being. Catholics look at the Pope, and others look at their ministers and pastors as if they were not human, but God Almighty. BIG MISTAKE. I have relatives that are ministers and hate that burden being placed on them.

I believe that Jesus is my Lord and Savior
He is the son of God
He died on the cross and bore our sins so we could have everlasting life.

Everyone has to believe in something or they will fall for anything. All my apples go in the Lord's basket. And BTW, there is a huge difference in being RELIGIOUS and being SPIRITUAL. You can religiously wash your hands, perform like a robot, etc.

Every world religion has within it the path that leads to truth and joy .Someone would have to be a mental midgit to say that Christianity is the only way to God.

All answers to this question will inherently be biased. Everyone, no matter of what belief held, is right in their own mind, therefore anyone not agreeing with their own understanding is wrong.

This is true of of any religious viewpoint, or even non-religious standing. Opinions are generally graded higher than truth in everyones mind.

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

There are no true religions. Religions are man-made traditions that utterly flawed by our self-addiction.

You should rephrase the question to, "Do you think Jesus Christ is the only way to God?"
