You don't.

Christians are guided by God and God recognizes it and tells Christians what to do.

The actions God directs will always be in line with the commandments.

We aren't supposed to love "everyone", but instead we are supposed to be able to forgive, and allow God to do the final judging. When the Bible says to love our enemies as ourselves, it means we are supposed to follow the Golden Rule. While yes, there are people out there who are of the upmost vile and cruel nature, but we are still supposed to treat them like a human being, the way you'd want to be treated.

True evil is not difficult to recognize at all-- people who kill, rape, terrorize, etc who recognize how harmful their actions are and do not want to change and show no remorse. I would say that is true evil. The worst evil is human evil-- even humans can be worse than the Devil.

Christianity doesn't command us to love evil, but instead to fight it by showing compassion, respect, and mercy towards others with the hope that there will be a positive change.

Good and evil are discerned. We are to try the spirits, because there are many antichrist spirits in the world. The spirit that does not confess that Jesus is Lord is antichrist and we are to stand our ground and resist the devil(s) influencing any person. If a person leaves because we won't give in to the spirit that is in operation in them then they leave, hopefully with seed. If they are called then they will meet up with another believer on down the road, or an angel of God will confront them with the truth.

You can recognize evil without acting upon it.
We are supposed to love the person, hate the sin and the devil that is ultimately behind it. The person who is under the influence of the devil is not our enemy, the devil is.

Bad habits are true evil. Everyone has them and it shouldn't keep you from loving others and yourself.

Be rational about it. What is your definition of "true evil"? If you've "visited" by true evil ...... recognize it for what it truly is ...... this isn't God's world ...... evil exists all around us, everyday ...... my definition of "true evil" is deception, false perception, and insubordination .......

Do you see a person as "true evil" or an action as "true evil."
