Of course, dwelling on compassion for the troubles of the "prevalence" of failures of man, like teen pregnancy, for instance, veils what it is you are actually looking for. That is, all the debate on abortion, which most people abhor and wouldn't do, gets in the way of, debate on what should be done to prevent it, and how to deal with it when it occurs, without creating societal unrest. Thus, the nation continues to be "at war" in a sense.

On the other hand, we need these term to reasonably discuss things. We need not lose sight of God to discuss things rationally.

Yes because we praise the highest of the high, which means average is not accebtable. Ordinary neither. This spirituality of high and highest in itself creates divisions in society. Nobody wants to be average and when it comes to being high it wants to be highest. Natural instinct.

I think that being human restricts our concept of God. We are incapable of fathoming who and what he is and is capable of. If you and I sit/stand side by side and look at God, He is so emmense that we would both see different faces.
