ok..i'm 17 too and getting married now doesn't seem like the best thing to do at this age. i don't know how old ur boyfriend is but u r still young and not old enough to be married. so just tell your bf that u r not old enough to be married and to wait a couple of years. if u guys r really meant to be then i'm sure u will be together till u r old enough to be married.

Ha... girl i think u are the way too too too too too too young!!!But you can keep the ring and you guys get married after a while, ( which i think this is the best way for you) My girlfriend and i have been together for 4 years and i love her so much too. And i know she is the girl i want marry to, but i think we are the way too you young!!! ( I am 18 my gf is 17) and we both plan to go to NY to go to university ( she wants to be lawyer and i want to be a movie director), we will go to different universities in NY, and after we graduated we'll move to L.A. I love my gf a lot, but i don't want to compose until we graduated from University. And I've met her parents, she has met mine too. But anyway i think you guys should follow your dreams first then get married. Good Luck

if he wants to marry you he needs to meet your family anyway. the first thing you need to dois finish your education and really understand what a commitment marriage is there are other things that you may want to do before you get married. you can be engaged for a while but marriage at seventeen doesn't work for everyone because people change through the years.

If this guy really means a lot to you and vis-versa, you two can wait. Or you could say yes, but wait a few years. My friend just got married. She's a junior, and her life has been a living hell; between trying to pay bills and keep up with school. Just hold off a little longer, okay?

In a way that good and everything but you are to young for all of that because yall mite be happy and in love now but then yall might lose interest in each other. But just be careful in the decision you are about to make. Don't rush into nothing you aint ready for okay.

Answer some questions first. Are you his first girlfriend? Is he your first boyfriend? Are you and him sexually active or are you waiting for marriage? Can you see yourself with this guy for the rest of your life? Do you plan on going to college? There are many things to consider before jumping into something so serious. Make sure he is the guy you wanna be with forever, wanna have kids with, wanna grow old with.

It doesn't matter how old. you gotta sit down and just think. can you picture yourself with someone else someday, because if you can, just wait. do you love him? if you agree to the proposal, make it a long engagement, or at least until you are sure about the decision.
