If you know NO more than this about the theory of Evolution, perhaps it would be wiser NOT to ask questions like this...this makes you look like a fool...not a very winning look. Belief in the Theory of Evolution is NOT a liberal viewpoint, it is a scientific view point. AND, for your sake, read the book....no where does anything speak of evolving from monkeys, but I suppose that if this makes you feel better about whatever you are talking about (I would remain silent rather than make myself look uneducated) then so be it.
