LEMON AID
'More clarifying and cleansing than any shampoo, this moisturizing and neutralizing tonic adds shine to your hair and removes buildup. It's especially good for very dry or damaged hair.'
Combine juice of 1 large lemon* with your usual amount of conditioner, then rinse through hair thoroughly.'
NOTE: A lot of people find 1/2 a lemon is enough as for some this can be drying. Also, for best results it should be thoroughly rinsed out with cool water and followed by regular conditioning.
*Lime and even grapefruit juice may be used.
WATTACURL WANTS (Baking soda rinse)
'The baking soda will remove heavy product buildup and leave your hair feeling shiny and clean.'
1 Tbsp. baking soda
1 C. warm water
Combine above ingredients in a plastic applicator bottle and shake or mix well in a plastic cup, pour through thoroughly water rinsed hair (or after a CO wash), allow to sit for a couple of minutes and then rinse off first with lukewarm water then cool, condition and style as usual.
NOTE: I've taken the liberty of modifying instructions for this one because I've noticed many, many times that people were not getting the desired effect by doing it the way it's explained in the book. This is an alkaline rinse so if not followed by conditioning the hair will feel "rough".
ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) RINSE:
This is an acid rinse similar to the "Lemon Aid" but also very helpful when dandruff or oily scalp buildup are a problem; it's also helpful to remove light mineral buildup from water.
1-2 Tbsp. ACV
1 C. warm water
Combine preferably in a plastic applicator bottle, apply as above, if buildup is heavy leave on longer before rinsing and/or repeat.
NOTE: If your hair is longer than shoulder length and/or thick you may have to double the recipe. Those with very hard water may also need to increase amount of ACV. Instead of plain water you may want to try an herbal infusion (such as chamomile or rosemary) for added benefit to the hair.
Snowy's Fave Moisture Treatment:
1 part Fave conditioner, must be moisture (she suggests VO5-Sun Kissed Raspberry)
1/4 part honey
1/4 part clear aloe vera gel (i.e. Fruit of the Earth).
DEEP MOISTURE TREATMENT:
Place in a cup and warm in microwave for 10 to 15 seconds--just until warm. You don't have to use a microwave to heat the mix, you can set a cup of it into a bowl of warm water. That may be a good option and an even more gentle way of warming it up. Wash hair and squeeze out excess, blot dry, leave in under heat cap, warm towels or shower cap, what have you, for an hour or so*. Rinse well. Finish (add leave-in if you do so) and style as usual.
NOTES:
1) *That's what the "original" recipe says but I think that's too long, so it's optional, half an hour total when heat is used is enough. And IMO heat should only be applied 10-20 mins. (depending on whether the hair is fine or coarse), after that just wrap your head in a towel to keep most of the heat in for the rest of the time.
2) For very dry hair I would add a tiny trickle of a good oil, especially during cold, dry weather.
3) There are quite a bit of other details and helpful info that would be too long to include here so I'll just pass on the link: http://www.longhaircommunity.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-14635.html

Go out & purchase yourself some lanza hair repair this will basically repair by putting the moisture back into your hair but if you have split ends I suggest getting a little trim as nothing will repair them.
Hair Repair is an advanced protein-rich formula specifically designed to build and maintain strength in hair that has been weakened from over-exposure to the elements or chemically or thermally damaged.
http://www.lanza.com/products/display_products_overviews.sd?iid=9
You can also get a product that is called magic bullet which is also a pretty good product which again you can buy from lanza.
As for dying your hair you can use a mixture of products you can use the lanza shampoo for coloured hair with the hair mask every other day, fill in the other day with the hair repair, I know this sounds like a lot of products but this will help your hair a great deal.
In the mean time till the products have been purchased get some olive oil warm the oil up slightly by standing the bottle in a cup of warm water, (do not overheat) once slightly warmed apply to the hair, cover & wrap the hair with some cling film or an old swimming cap but the cling film is better.
Once done this leave on the hair for half hour, heat for the first 5 mins with a hairdryer to heat & open the pores on the hair this way the product adds the moisture back into the hair, once the time is up rinse with warm water, a little shapmpp just to remove the product but not to over do it or you will rinse it back out of your hair, then add a little conditioner to the wet hair to not squeeze out any water before adding the conditioner, once done style as normal

hopefully this helps you
Hair heat cap - Turban style microwavable hair cap
$14.95
you can get these from any drug or hair care store to use with your hot oil treatments ( it beats sitting under the dryer)
it like a towel but stays in place better and u can just warm it up in the microwave

Ok first of all, dye is bad for your hair. If you want to condition your hair, use egg OR curd.
Apply it on your hair and leave it for a half or one hour. Then shampoo and wash off.
Henna is a natural dye as well as a good conditoner.
People use it to darken grey hair. It does not give you any hair problems but instead moisturises it. Henna powder packets are available in the market. All you have to do is mix it with water or even better mix it with black tea(tea's a good moisturiser too) and apply it evenly on your hair. leave it for an hour and shampoo off.
I hope this works!
BEST OF LUCK!!!

Here's one I use:
Mash up an avocado and mix it up with some honey, apply it to your hair, let it do it's thing for 5 minutes or so and then rinse off thoroughly. It's very messy but very good for your hair :)

Try washing your hair with Mane and Tail shampoo. It is great for damaged hair. It was originally used for horses, but women use it for damaged hair. It is great!

you may want to just use a rinse, or a semi permanent dye. I don't think you've overdyed it.
