I believed in GOD and that Jesus is His son, I asked for forgiveness of my sins and for Jesus to be the Lord of my life, and I obey GOD and try to follow His will for my life and put Him first.
It's a daily process, sometimes I fail and struggle, but I know I can always rely on GOD to be here for me and I will always have His forgiveness.

First, as I prayed, I asked God to forgive me of all my sins and I repented of everything. Then I asked the Lord Jesus to come into my heart and life and be my savior, to be my only hope of a home in heaven with Him. I prayed and accepted His forgiveness and accepted Jesus as my Lord and my Savior.

The bible says that all you have to do is "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved" No where in the bible is a prayer of salvation laid out. Not saying that praying a prayer aftersomeone is not OK, its just anyone can pray a prayer, its the attitude and change in yoru heart that matters.
A perfect example of this is the theif on the cross. One of them hardened his heart and missed an opprunitity for salvation, the other opened his heart, believed the dude in the middle was not just a man and was gaurenteed "to be in paradise" with Him.

Accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I'm incredibly grateful for this. It's the biggest blessing in my life.

When I completely understood that I was a sinner and I understood that only Jesus can redeem me from my sins I approached my pastor during the last song of the church service and I told him I wanted to be saved. I confessed my sins and he explained to me what it meant to repent and I understood. I accepted Jesus as Savior at that time when I was 13 years old. Then the next Sunday I was Baptised and became a member of the church.

Wow, You know everytime I thought I had done it right someone would tell me I was not saved because I did not do the prayer right. or I did not get dunked first, or I forgot to close my left eye and stand on my right foot. Those people made me question not only if I was saved but if there was a God or Jesus at all. After I read the bible again and again I find many different exsamples of how its actually done but the best is "they heard, they believed, they were saved." and as I tell everyone who asks me where does it say that you read it and tell me. Seek and you will find.

Pray the prayer. ABC.
A---Admit to God you are a sinner. You've sinned. You aren't perfect.
B---Believe that Jesus is God's son. That God sent him down from Heaven just so we could pray this prayer and have eternal life.
C--Confess your faith in Jesus and trust him as your Savior and Lord. You KNOW God sent Jesus to die for you and you trust Him to be your Savior. To follow him always.

Ask him to forgive you for anything that you have done that displeases him, and vow to do your best to lean and follow his commands from now on.
-------------------------------------
Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me."
~John 14:23-24 (NIV)
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
~John 11:25-26 (NIV)
