Your voice cracks because you don't "have" those notes yet. You need to practice. When I hired a vocal coach when I was younger (i think around age 10) , the teacher told me I have an amazingly big, high voice for my age but when I got lower than around A or B before middle C, it wasn't in tune. My voice just couldn't go any lower than those notes. But now, my vocal range has stretched and can hit those lower notes. Same with you, maybe you should invest some money to get some vocal training because, from what you are saying it seems like you are better with lower notes than high notes (opposite of my situation years ago). So, you just need some practice like any other instrument. I also play classical piano. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't play brilliantly composed pieces from Bach when I first started! It took lots of practice and learning. Now, years later, I can. I'm not sure how old you are but if you are under 25, you still are going to go through a slight voice change. For some odd reason female voices develope slower than male voices. Also, don't try to stretch to those high notes so soon, it could really damage your voice!

Get out there and find a voice teacher! It is more beneficial if it is private lessons because you get one on one help.

You need to take voice lessons from a legit coach if you want to sing higher than your normal range. You can learn to do it, but you'll damage your vocal cords if you do it incorrectly. There's nothing wrong with having a lower voice though. Those can be sexy too.

So use your head voice. I don't know about most people, but my chest and head voice have pretty much the same tone and volume(I'm loud). But relax your cords, use more air and push with your diaphragm.

Good luck!

You can only sing within the natural range of you own voice.
Sure, with lots of practice, you might be able to stretch your range, but only slightly. I want to sing like Vince Gill, but it will never happen. Sorry!

if you have an alto voice...singing higher may not be possible without training..however..try singing louder and projecting your voice when you get to those high notes...sometimes that does the trick..sometimes it doesnt
