I'm going to be getting my license next month but I don't have a car. For the actual driving part of the test, can you use your mother's car? I'm really confused about this. I plan on buying a car once I save enough money, but in the mean time, I will be on my mother's car insurance and will be driving her car.

So my question is, WHEN TAKING THE TEST, CAN YOU USE JUST ANY CAR? I live in the state of Ohio.

DOES THE CAR HAVE TO BE IN A CERTAIN CONDITION IN ORDER TO USE IT? MY COUSIN SAID I COULD USE HIS BUT IT SHAKES A BIT WHEN IT GOES OVER A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF SPEED.

Yes, you can in Ohio. If you don't have a car, you can use someone elses.

You can drive anyone's car if you have permission.
Make sure your car fits the test criteria - MY family had a van with a console on the floor, so we had to borrow a car with an accessible emergency brake.
Try to practice on the car you will use for the test!

You can use any car you want. They don't ask for ownership information. As long as it has a legal tag and all the lights work (the first thing they check is the light bulbs) you can take your road test in it.
