We hate it when a driver can't show respect to another driver and we are the first to place judgement, so why do we do the same thing here? We all love the sport of Nascar, we all are fans, so lets practice what we preach and start respecting one another. If you see a question you don't like, don't answer it, because chances are, your answer will not be a nice one! Lets start having fun in this forum, because we all know Nascar Rules!!!!

I agree with that very much. I have people I've found on here that are cool and this forum has led me to them. No troll or hater of NASCAR can change that. You can tell who the "real" people are and the multiple identity types out to pad their points or with some other agenda but in the end it doesn't matter to me as long as they are respectful. We don't have to agree but we also don't need to attack each other as often as it seems to happen.

Again, good natured bashing is one thing. It's part of the sport. Always has been. Nascar is about the only sport where groups of opposing teams' fans can share an afternoon together without a fistfight breaking out. Unlike football, hockey or (worst of all) European Soccer.

Saying a driver made a bonehead move, or calling him a Drama Queen after a whine session, or poking fun at his ability to hit everything on the track including the pace car is one thing.
Personal attacks on his manhood & family is another.
I'm as guilty as the next guy when it comes to not being able to resist slamming Tony or a Busch Brother when they do something that I find "dumb", but at least I try to keep it in the grounds of good taste.

There is much more that rules than today's NASCAR. I 'm not being mean or anything I am just stating a fact. I guess I maybe wrong on that It does rule but is isn't near as good as it was 6 or 7 years ago.
It is miss managed to the point where the drivers don't know what the rule is going to be from track to track and the fine don't match the crime's.
If this is all you know then I suppose it does rule to you but they way people act will not change and you probably just added another log into the fire.

I think thats just how we are. I mean we just do it to piss people off. I think that more people need to learn to respect others. I mean kids now a days are so disrespectful, and they have bad examples to look up to if they see their parent or guardian or someone online in this forum who is being disrespectful. Kids need role models not someone who acts like another kid. I think that if we all respected a better place we would all get to talk about the sport we love so much, have fun with it, and make some great friends, and learn while doing it. Isnt that what makes learning fun, being with your friends and talking about something you love and learning about it. Everyone needs to find something they are passionate about and for all of us that's NASCAR, or at least on of the many passionate things in our life. Go #24!!!!

I agree. I love Dale, Jr. but I don't get upset when other answerers express a negative opinion of him. I don't thumbs down answers I disagree with either. I express myself and enjoy reading everyone else's answers and questions. I learn in this category and I have fun, too. Unfortunately sometimes we are affected by other's behavior on this site. I was suspended on yahoo a few months ago after reaching level 7 in another category. Someone went through my old questions and answers that had been resolved for weeks and even months, and reported abuse violations. If someone attacks you personally on here, you have no protection. Writing Yahoo is ineffective. It's a public forum, open to all, but it's not without its risks. I say live and let live.

I am with you on this. Although as human beings we will always disagree. This got me thinking, I can say I have never been one to say so and so is gay or so and so is a crybaby. I have made comments about a certain VERY popular driver that he is not worthy of all the hype, I have made comments about a couple other drivers that are always causing wrecks. Which I think is ok. I am just not into the name calling. Anyways Kudos to you for another great question.

I whole heartily agree!! Great point! I've been really busy and this is the first I've been able to log on in here for over a week and I see the same old crud going on, it's disheartening.

I'm here to have fun and talk NASCAR!

Ignorance dosen't bother me, when someone bad mouths Gordon I feel bad for them. Anyways its the 14 and 16 year old kids who only get mad, any civalized adult can take a joke and not take NASCAR so serious in their life, but sadly to some people NASCAR is their life.

It's those Hendricks fans who do all the bashing, making fun of other drivers and being disrespectful. I been accused, I know its by a Hendricks fan, of being a troll. I didn't even do anything. People talk crap about drivers on here, but people talk crap about other users too, like that guy accusing me of being a troll. He don't know me.

SO TRUE! And I'm glad someone finally said. Some the trash talk is all in good fun, but some "fans" take it WAY too far!
