Personally, I am in favor of the legalization of poly marriages. However, I think it would depend on why you want three wives. If you want that because you think it would be fun/easy/cool/etc., you might be missing the point of modern relationships. If you are in love with three women who would be willing to live in that situation, then it might be ideal.

As a woman, I would have no problem entertaining the idea of adding someone to my relationship with my partner if that was what the both of us wanted. However, it would be an equal triad relationship unless something to the contrary was worked out between all partners.

But I will tell you that I tend to be considered very liberal from a social perspective, and therefore may not be a good judge of the average female opinion.

If your ultimate goal in relationships is to have multiple wives then you need to be honest and straightforward with the women you are interested in. Do not lie, do not go behind people's backs.

There are a lot of legal ramifications for the situation you suggest so you should check up on laws concerning matrimony, adultery, contractual binding of people's lives, paternity/child law, and how to protect you, the wives, and any children from the union.

You also must understand that there are social ramifications as well. Your family will face stigmatization if you attempt to live your lives in the open. If you attempt to hide the relationships, then you may be living a lie for the rest of your lives. And you must understand that any children that come of the unions may not understand why their family is different, or why they have to use specific names/pronouns/titles for their family members in public than they use at home. People fear what they do not understand, and that can affect your household.

You also must know that you will be able to support your household. Will you work, will your wives work? Who will care for the children and home? How will responsibilities be handled? What about insurance?

Poly relationships are not the easiest, nor are they meant for everyone. Socially, many cultures indoctrinate their members to pair off and remain monogamous, many others do not. In the end, this has to be a decision made between you and the women you wish to marry.

I think you are not working on all 8 cylinders. Well you better go live in Colorado City, CO or Utah, because bigamy is illegal in most states. Go to Iran and become a Muslim, as they can have more than one wife. Good Luck...

Go watch Big Love first. Then find a woman who will marry you and consider that idea. Then find two more women who are willing to be part of that relationship with no legal standing in the relationship. Then go buy Viagra by the truckload.

Dude, are you aware that it is illegal within the borders of the U.S. of A? Unless you don't live here....

But why would you want 3 wives? I know it is acceptable in some cultures, but still, what would drive you to have more than 1?

Go for it...Just remember that you'll lose 50% of your belongings each time you get a new one, due to the fact that the earlier ones will divorce you when you find the next.

Why? What's the purpose behind it? Do you really think you can pull that off? What about the WIVES...I doubt they would be thrilled with the idea!

My opinion is this: not only do you need a lesson in law, but you also need one in grammar (the plural for "wife" is "wives")
